Hang in there. The whole in-law thing can be a nightmare even if they are nice. If they are monsters-in-law, it's pure h&((. Aren't there about 1,234,543 things to see in DC? That's a lot to pack into a weekend. maybe you could give them a list of, oh, 25 things to see each day and tell them not to come back until they've conquered the entire list?

VERY cute couple - was that a hand check or something? Loved the color on her dress...very nice!

(The color vaguely reminded me for just a second of the powder blue tux my date wore to my prom way back when) Times / styles sure have changed...I think the dress that I wore in my Jr. yr. was some hippie floral print thing with an empire waist & these big wide gull wing sleeves... And I think I really liked it at the time! Oh My! Does anybody else remember the 70's besides me?!

ah, I remember Prom Night... My best friend wasn't allowed to see her boyfriend so my boyfriend took her and I was her boyfriend's "date" - yeah. like they coudn't figure THAT one out. (we thought we were soooo clever!)

Our dance was at the Disneyland Hotel. there were more than a few or us that mentioned ditching the boring dance and hiting the park. Only things lacking were nerve ... and money. Ah, the "good old days"

Wow, everyone must be doing important things. I got a chance to listen to the DIS podcast on my way to an exciting afternoon returning things to Merv's and Kohl's. Here's what DIS-master Pete talked about:

1) there will be a tequila bar going into Mexico at Epcot (inside the Aztec pyramid?)

2) Disney is undergoing contract negotiations with all 9 of the outsourced rerstaurants in Epcot and wants a bigger piece of their $$$'s. May be why the Italian restaurant is closing?

3) The Japanese restaurant will be turning into more of a sushi place (ick!)

4) Concourse Steakhouse will be closing and Chef Mickey's could be getting much smaller

5) The other place in the Contemporary is closing (no, no CA Grill)

These changes are, I guess, going to start at the end of this year and next year. Sue Ellen?? Know anything about this? I assume this is all true - but you know what you get when you "assume"

Anna called me twice today: "We're at the Mickey pool playing. Call you later." "We're under way. See you in 16 days." WAAAAAA! I wanna go!

OK, kids are home. Back to being Mommy.

Don't have / know Merv's...but am good friends with Kohl's...
