TENOR!!! How the heck have you been?

Bets--sometimes that scale does strange things. just remember--muscle weighs more than the other stuff, so your weight may look like it's not going anywhere, but do measurements. I track the inches more than the pounds.

VTech--sigh. Such a large part of the community around here (even though we are a few hours away.) Many, many students in this area go to Tech, and it's always so scary when you are waiting to see if it's one of your friend's children, or one of your daughter's friends involved. Fortunately everyone we knew there was okay. I'm still so saddened by all of this (as is so much of the nation.)

Tara will be at Tech this summer for a journalism workshop for a bit. I know it will be so strange to be there and to think about what happened there.

So what's up people?

oh---nyah, nyah...my countdown was 4 weeks, but I just found out that I will be attending an agent program at Universal for a few days, so I'll bein FL in 13 days. (still going to be there in 4 weeks too)

Katie, when are you arriving in FL? I'm only going to be there 2 1/2 days for the Universal thing but if we are there at the same time we can get together.

Only 6 1/2 months until I'm on the Magic again.

We are supposed to be back at 80 degrees by Monday. WOO HOO!!! I'll be so glad for this cold, windy weather to be GONE!

While we complain about our WDW trip being too far away, or Starbucks skimping on the whipped cream, or our pool not filling up fast enough, or Banana Republic running out of khakis, a tragedy like this puts things in perspective. My heart goes out to everyone affected by it.

76 degrees yesterday until superduper winds came in...today gray and windy, high of 61.

Pool is still not full....2 hoses have been running for almost 24 hours. Wonder what the water bill will be like?

They're predicting we may get to 70 degrees on Sat, Sun & Mon (our avg. s/b 68 or 69 by now)! I smell mulching and predict back pain in my future...

Hope you have a sub meter on your outside water! Is it cheaper to fill it with a hose rather than getting the water delivered in a tanker? We don't have a pool but I know I always see tankers here that say "pool water" on them....

We're not metered, so the cost of refilling the pool is... free!



Good thing too, since the cost of resurfacing it was, um... not free.

OK, I am not the brightest star shining in the sky....but I think I am putting 2 & 2 together...maybe.... This will probably give all of you a chuckle that I am THIS slow...but here goes.... Is Beano RonnieJo's prince charming?! Did I suddenly have this revelation because I was at a scout meeting all evening and haven't had my daily cocktail yet?!
