Can you tell him there's this new chick going who's always drunk on Capt. Morgan & falling off her lounge chairs & that you HAVE to go so you can get a load of this anal retentive freak!?! How 'bout that one? Would that work? Did I read where you said he plays poker? How 'bout that my DH plays a little - and he could beat him real bad 'cuz he's not that good?!?! Ummm. OK, what else?!

My brother has a farm (it's in WV & he lives in a trailer up a hollow so we can't call it a ranch) and he has some cows that he can't afford to feed 'cuz his job sucks & he got hurt so he's livin' on Worker's Comp or something...OK, not the same thing as you...nevermind...

I did! I did! I explained all about the lovely breezes and warm sunshine and rum with which to soothe....

I got nuthin'.:sad2:

Cheri even pulled out her old geometry book....nuthin.:sad2:

I will continue to work on him though. You know me. I hate taking no for an answer.

Ok not that I would wish this upon myself...but maybe I could go with the guilt of a horrible labor & delivery. "It's all your fault....you wanted one more child....horrible pain...many, many hours...." Must go on cruise with friends...may never get horribleness out of my head....

Think that will work?
I still use the "I HAD 'em!" card once in a while - both on Chris AND Timmy (Cassie still being a little young to care)

The poker thing might work .... hm...

Cassie and I watched the first part of the video. She's screaming (in my ear) "there's Ryan! there's my crab friend!" Have to catch the rest of it....

Speaking of videos... google "nail salon" and pick the video by Anjelah. If you've ever been in a nail "chop shop" you can soooo relate. A fireman friend of mine at the gym told me about it - now why HE knew about it... Bets, is this something the firemen do when not out fire dousing? Wandering the net?

:cheer2: Yay new tactics!! Try them all I will!! I have seen the nail salon video - it's pretty funny.

I always wonder what they are talking about.....

OK - off to get doughnuts!! Yum. Baby likes doughnuts.princess:

yum dooooughnuuuuts. I remember them. The best thing to happen was when the local Krispy Kreme closed. The chocolate topped whipped creme filled was better than .... (well, this is a family board):rotfl:

Cassie is at a horse show all day :woohoo: free day for Momma! Wait, no. "So, why can't you take me (and 2 friends) to Guitar Center (and listen to screaming electric guitars) for 3 hours today? You don't have anything else to do!!! Oh and can you make me chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast?" Anybody want a teenage boy, cheap? I'll pay the shipping :lmao:

oh, and , Sarah: welcome back sweetie! We miss you and your posts! What have you been doing? I mean "you don't have anything else to do!" :rotfl2:
I can't wait to see you and the Mr.

There's this place in Bethany Beach, DE called the "Fractured Prune" that makes donuts TO ORDER! OMG! You can get like THE most awesome combinations....like Rocky Road & Chocolate Raspberry & Orange Creme & Reese Cup and OH MY! Just this whole huge list. A bunch of us Moms went to the beach on a girls only weekend last fall & we went to this place on Sat. morning in our (matching) PJ's & devoured a whole entire box on the spot (like a bakers doz.). It was heavenly.......:cloud9:

A horse show! Now that I could get behind! Del Mar...Wait that is usually around the 4th of July..

Is it Grand Prix time?
no, just something the older sister was riding in in Vista. Timmy was invited to a friend's house for the night and to go see The Mouse tomorrow so no screaming electric guitars for mom today  Want him to bring you a Dole Whip, Auntie RJ?

Picked out the pretty graduation present for the pretty girl graduating 8th grade in a few weeks :rolleyes1 . Like it she will! Timmy wants tickets to Rascal Flatts - at $200 a piece. Ummm ... he just may pass and I haven't killed him -- on the other hand -- $200 for concert tickets OMG! for that price he'd better be sittin' on STAGE!

Ah yes, we checked Rascal Flatts tickets here also...$99 just to sit in the grass.

Remember the good old days...Garth Brooks tickets for like $20.

Dole Whips is good.

Cheri enjoy your quiet time.

:wave2: Hi RJ! Using that pool today! It's HOT!

Johnna:

Stood on the steps in the pool.....alittle too cold fer me to swim in still.

Did "the baby" enjoy her donuts? ;) Said baby needs name...what name does Ryan like? Do we have any front runners?

Not yet, but a hedge trimmed like a Mickey head isn't out of the question! :earsboy:

OK - next subject - I need help / advice!

I am trying to plan our vac. this Aug. to WDW. I made a couple of dinner ressies yesterday (HATE planning those so early but now you almost HAVE TO - down to the 4:00 hour being the latest avail. for the Fantasmic packages!) But we're also kicking around the idea of renting a car for a day to go to Universal :scared1: We're not Disney traitors but DS LOVES rides & we figured he'll be old enough (or tall enough rather) to go on most of the stuff over there.... Anyway, haven't been to Universal since like 1996 - now there's 2 parks... For any of you who've been there - CAN WE DO both parks in one day?! They have a 2 parks / 1 day ticket which is only $32 more for the 3 of us VS the 1 park / 1 day pass - but wasn't sure if it could really be done or not? They don't offer their express pass for the dates we're down there - so didn't know if the lines might make it darned near impossible... which seems nuts if we're buying an Premium A/P at Disney (so we can do a water park AND Disney Quest....and use it again NEXT summer pre-cruise). YIKES! $$$$$ So, just wondered if any of you have spent any time over there & what do you think?! So far, I'm having a hard time figuring WHICH DAY to even go by the time we make sure we do everything else at WDW.... (Yes, we're the "commando types" since we don't get to go very often)!

HELP me please!!! (I need a Mojito!) :rotfl:

you know..you ALMOST got that for christmas..they have the kits that you can grow your own..

Annie..I have never been to Universal..I am a Disney girl..I don't leave the area..in fact, I park my car and don't see it again till I go home!

Oh My Gosh! That is gorgeous. I need to live in a place like that. Things are just starting to turn a bit green here, but the trees are all still bare. Love the tiki guy!:thumbsup2

Sorry, Annie, no Universal advice here either.

Hey CamColt - u packed yet?! Hope ya have a great time! :thumbsup2

I'm so-o freaking anal...OMG. I've got all of the park hours & early openings & late openings and the nites they're doing the Princess & Pirate party + our dinner ressies...all written out w/ all of these options on a calendar. Want to make sure we don't miss out on anything - but it's more complicated now that DS wants to go to DQ (just one more thing to squeeze in). I think we sleep less on vacation than when we're home if that's possible!!

We don't usually rent a car - we just do the Magical Express thing so this will be weird for us to leave WDW. Anyway, we're going down Thurs - Thurs when the rates (points) drop so I'm thinking that perhaps Thurs. will just be our whatever day - probably go to DDD & DQ after we check-in so we can pick up our A/P's & DS can do this Cyber Mountain thing he wants to do at DQ (I gotta check on the hours over there). Then we should probably go to Universal on Fri. as starting on Sun. they stop staying open until 10 & it goes back to 8:00 - that way we can rent the car & make a grocery / beer / alcohol stop on Fri. & we'll be set for the rest of the week & we'll have until 10 to finish Universal. Putting off going doesn't make sense if we're gonna go - we should take advantage of the later park hours & car rental early on, right? AK opens early on Sat. & the MK closes at 7:00 for the Pirate party thing - so we'll probably do that on Sat. nite. I have to figure out some pool / relaxation time too!

I hate being so scheduled with everything (really, I do). I'd rather play it by ear more and I really dislike having to plan what nite we want to eat where this far out - I miss being able to call & get a ressie for dinner once we're there - but as long as I get to go to Boma at least once...:cloud9:

Hey CamColt - u packed yet?! Hope ya have a great time! :thumbsup2

Ack! :scared1: Thanks! I'm not quite packed. Honestly I am doing a bit better than I expected I would be but thats because I realized how crazy the next 2 days are going to be an I really have no time. I'm actually heading out now to Cam's baseball game (we had a parade and opening day ceremonies earlier). Tomorrow they both have baseball (3:30-5:30 and 5:15-8:00), then Tuesday Colt has soccer.

It sounds like your trip is coming together. :thumbsup2

Oh h*ll, we always do that!!

"Up at 6:00 AM!! Go go go!! Epcot opens at 8:00!!" :hyper: :hyper: MOVE!!

I have to take 3 days off after vacation just to recover. :faint:

To My Dearest Peeps,

I am just writing to say Thank You   , for all the pixie dust that was sent to me on my recent stay in the hospital(Linda printed the pages and brought them to me). It just goes to show you that you all are great great people and i pulled through with help and love of all my Dis Peeps, you guys are all like family to myself and Linda, even the ones we have not met yet on this upcoming cruise...Once again Thank You for all your well wishes.

Well anyway I got home from the icky hospital on Friday afternoon, and have been resting since then and my wonderful wife has been helping me in anyway I need. So as she told all of you I had an abscess on my tonsil, which from the pictures I have seen its like a giant pimple on my tonsil, but none the less it hurt really bad, thank God for painkillers. So now I am home thank God, but I have to stay out of work for 2 weeks to make sure I am fully healed which really stinks because I wanna get back to work. I am on all sorts of antibiotics, which is helping me but also making me tired and weak, so I have to get my strength back...

I think I need a cruise.

Well anyway just wanted to let everyone know that I am home and getting better by the day...

Thanks Again and We Love All of You :grouphug: :grouphug:
