So... where should we go for our "woohoo-the-Walk's-over" dinner tonight? The Hub says I get to choose...

:confused3 dunno...........

what's your favorite? ;)

Le Cellier! :teeth:

Bahama Breeze? That's a long way away though...

i dunno... mebbe we should try someplace new. Friends suggested a mexican place and margies sound pretty freakin good right now...

Congrats ophie! Big To-Do's are always panic-inducing, blood pressure-rising pains in the rear. I'm glad that it ended up well. How did the GSD do?

(I am so with ophie on the whole no-bone thing. <insert unsmiley tosscookieboy here> Good thing about veggies: no bones)

You'll get to relax tomorrow with traditional "yell at the tv Sunday", yes?

hee-hee

maybe this should be our t-shirt :lmao:
(just kidding "Beans" the creation is all yours!)

My next door neighbor was going out tonite (as her DH and youngest DS are also camping out) but I just wasn't feeling the bar scene tonite.....so here I sit just having a good old time doing nothing much! :thumbsup2 OK, so my evening (alone) is consisting of a few glasses of Angel Juice with my own private wine & cheese party dinner (Havarti Dill and Smoked Gouda) with bouts of cleaning inbetween.:rotfl2:

 Suits me just fine...:rotfl:

See... now I have a philosophical question... If it's a "bad" emoticon, can you really call it a "smiley?"
[/SIZE] :sad2:

Deep thoughts! :headache: :rotfl:

As for the wedding attire, my first thought was a little black dress for an evening wedding. Around here that seems to be the norm, but I know all aspects of weddings vary so much from region to region(and I certainly am not up on fashion), so take my opinion with a grain of salt. :confused3

Busy day here. We started with a soccer game at 9:00, another at 11:30, Cam had a brithday party, I spent 4 hours at the salon, now we just got in from dinner. I think DH needs to make a packy run to pick up some more French Vanilla Kaluah...we tried this AND ran out of it last weekend. ;)

Enjoy your night everyone!

4 hours at the salon? (did they serve wine and cheese?) and French Vanilly Kaluah? Ooh that sounds really goooooooood.

LOL! Nope, just munchkins on the counter. But they did make a Dunkin Donut run while I was there and asked if I wanted anything(they dont ask all the customers, but I was pretty much there for the day, LOL). But yes, I have the most ridiculously insane hair. About 2 years ago I discovered and am now addicted to the CHI straightening. It's quite an ordeal to get done. I always end up with at least 1 burnt spot on my scalp, and my neck gets sore from hanging over the sink for so long, but it is sooo worth it to have striaght hair. :thumbsup2

The FV Kaluah was very good. Unfortunately, when DH saw it last week he only got a nip....ummm...how am I supposed to experiement with that? He thought we should try it first....like I may not like it. :rotfl:

4 hours! Holy Smokes! I have super fine, naturally wavey :wave2: hair but so I just cut all of it off as short as possible rather than deal with blow dryers & straightening! With short hair I have to go every 6 weeks for a trim & color touchup....but I'm basically in & out in about 1 hr & 15 min. on avg. I guess at least you don't have to go so often, right?

OK, having some microwave popcorn now for a snack...the cheese & cracker dinner wore off already....

Ophie - so do you work for the Amer. Heart Assoc. or was the walk just a volunteer thing you did or are you an event planner (i.e. how did you get involved)?! DS's school always does a Jump Rope For Heart thing every spring...the kids really like doing that.... Anyway, congrats on a job well done I'm sure! :thumbsup2

Katie: I had my hair straightened a couple of years ago......not good!

Fried all my hair, it went from shoulder length to about an inch to inch and a half all over my head! :scared: So now I just blow dry it straight and use a flat iron. More work but at least my hair is growing back now. Glad it works for you though :goodvibes

:scared1: Holy smokes! (no pun intended) Did you do the CHI system? Ok, now you know the next time I get this done I will be freaking out in the chair the whole time, LOL! Actually my stylist told me today that when you see smoke coming off, thats actually good because its burning off the stuff and that protects your hair...hmmm???? Something to think about next time. But really it has made my life so much easier. I really had the extreme wave, frizz, and thickness(Ill try to find a before pic for you). Now I can wear it up in a pony tail(getting ready to hit the parks in July heat was a breeze!), I don't mind being out in the rain. Before if I were going out anywhere by nighttime I'd have to redo it all, but now not so much. Its been well worth the time, pain, and money for me.

BTW, love the tshirts! Beware! :rotfl:

Ok, I found some pics

BEFORE (you can see its not even a nice wave or curl...just yuk!)

Thanks Ronie Jo.
I feel your pain with the "getting wet" issue. UGH! I never realized your hair was that curly. Its amazing you can get it that straight. I too like the straight look for you. :goodvibes

Congrats ophie! Big To-Do's are always panic-inducing, blood pressure-rising pains in the rear. I'm glad that it ended up well. How did the GSD do?

TY! GSD did really well. He's probably the reason it all worked out.

JRFH is a great program! Glad he likes it! And thanks! :)

Sounds like you did very well, Ophie, even against the odds. Great job pulling it off. :thumbsup2
Hope the celbratory dinner was nice too. :thumbsup2
