What did you think about the new chick & Claires new "friend"? He seemed a little odd or something.......I thought the previews looked better than last nites show....

does Ophie have a "thing" for deli chickens? I am a fan of the little Tyson whole chickens that are already cooked....zap them puppies in the microwave for about 8 minutes & Voila! Today we're making the roast in the crockpot...house should smell pretty good by now (provided the cats haven't knocked the lid off & helped themselves)! (Oh and speaking of cats - bead update - so far, so good - the cats have been paws off - but I've caught DS playing in them!)

I'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry.... We TIVO everything too (to the point of we have 3 TIVO boxes) but so since we TIVO so many things we try really hard to watch everything that comes on before 10:00 THAT same day & then we save the 10:00 shows and the 30 min. show for whenever we have time to watch! So very sorry. Won't do it again! Let me know what you think whenever you get around to it!

I need to go outside & clean up my shrub trimmings and "weed" the pond....uggg. Tomorrow is recycling day.... (That's why I figured it was a good day to do the roast - since I'll be outside again most of the evening...) I need a cold beverage first tho. Work has been so freaking busy... I like to be busy but I don't like it when there's so much that I don't know which pile to work on next, ya know?! What shall I drink tonite? I'm thinking maybe like Smirnoff Ice or Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonade (easy for carrying around outside). Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm she said.

Heroes...kinda disappointing. Read the preview so know about the new friend of Claire's. Sulu does look like a goner but thinking there will be many flashbacks at this point.

What power do you think Peter's mom the Ice Queen has!? I haven't figured that one out yet.

And how did Peter end up in Ireland!?

Yard work - lots to do in this area in the fall to get ready for winter! I didn't get to the pond tonite...the arborvites took more work than I thought they would (they were HUGE) & the azaleas really weren't very even from last nite so they took more work...but it's lookin' a lot better out there... I completely filled up a trash can with cuttings... SOON I have to start cutting down all of my perennial beds! I HATE that job! But I'm thinkin' this new hedge trimmer just might come in handy when I start that process.

Ants! Hate 'em! We get 'em when it rains much (I think they come inside so they don't drown!) Anyway, I found this stuff that's AMAZING! It's like ant crack! I swear! They love it! It's this Combat Gel stuff - and it's loaded in this plunger thing - so you just squeeze out a little dab of the stuff & they glomb (sp?) all over it & eat it up & POOF! They DIE! It's so cool. And you just need a few dabs of the stuff - I use it outside in the patio too 'cuz the suckers make their little homes in my sand inbetween the pavers!

They look very nice I've often thought about doing that but never did it. I have big knuckles & sometimes my rings are hard to get on & off so I was afraid it would be harder if I did that... But they do drive me nuts sometimes.

Got a Tassimo Beverage machine for my birthday. Makes lattes you know. Has little coffee "pods" you use. No more Starbucks! Got it out, soaked the filter, put machine together....no sample coffees.....WHAT!!? Cannot try machine.
