wow, i cant think were that is? in the allentown area we go to iron lakes, and shep. hills. ill have to keep my eyes open on friday. i try to stay away from 222, its a parking lot. did you ever play in wdw? i got to one time, we traveled w/ another cpl. and we got to play lake b.( my dw and dd have no intrest,) i donated a sleeve of balls to the mouse!!!

no i didnt see that. since we became ap holders 9 years ago, i havnt followed the tickets etc... the vacation club also has a golf program of some sort also but i never realy looked into it because my dw and dd dont play. we wanted to play the palm course but it was one week before the r. class. and the course was closed.if i recall, this was in 2007, for 18 holes, cart, and we had our own shoes and clubs, in was $97. for each of us. there was nobody in front of us and there was four somes about 4 holes back. we had a blast!! it was hole 7, the green is an island about as big as a hub cap.(well, maybe slightly bigger) i teed off, hit the green about 10 yrds from the water, ran down the hill,"plunk".
second ball, pulled it, "plunk". third ball, (again, there was nobody around) ball landed about 10 feet from the cup, "ringed it" walked away w/ three t-shots and a ringing putt!! like i said, we had a blast!! very nice course.its just fun getting out in the sun and hittin the ball around!

DD, though, is expressing interest. I may just have to go get some clubs for her this year. Think 6 is to young to start? (I'm thinking "Tigress Woods"

the one guy i golf with, his son started at around 6. hes about 11 now and hes pretty good. he plays from the red tees alot but he keeps up. needs to work on his hissy fits and he has to remember hes not tiger, and just have fun instead of getting mad when you dont make a perfect shot, but other than that, hes good.
as far as dd16 goes and golfing,this is what i got when i asked " im not wearing shoes that look like that in public"! and yuuuuk, the ball has grass stains on it! and " if i cant drive the cart, im not going."LOL! Sounds like you had a blast! I only wish I could get DW to play golf with me. Not a competitive bone in her body

What?!? Only 3 buckets? LOL! Sounds like that guy has early retirement in mind, too. But I agree... you have to have fun doing it or what's the point? (Well, besides all the fame and money).

Even with boys I still have that driving the cart argument sometimes.
(of course, I'm happily married, but.. if you were single, etc.. wouldn't you wonder that you probably have great odds!)

, why don't we go to WDW for a quick trip" . So we figured on a quick 4 night visit. Then I found out about the buy 4 get 3 package(shows how much I've been paying attention). So we are heading to the World June 21-28 at AKL for an unexpected trip.
