Glad to see I am not the only Dad who gets hyper at the thought of Disney. Less than 6 weeks till I am there and I swear if I could stay awake for every moment of my trip there I would. Even standing in a queue in blazing sun for 2 hours on my last trip for my daughter to meet Ariel I still thought there was nowhere else I wanted to be than right there in the middle of Disney!

I would say I am good for about a third of the 101

I will be at WDW the last week of Sept. (9/25 to 10/5) when will you be there. we are doing the wine and food fest at Epcot. maybe a minny DIS meet or something? We got off a cruise on the Magic in June with some DISers from Scotland. very good folks

Disney may have interest in Sea World

According to reports, Disney is among those showing interest in purchasing Sea World following InBev's takeover of Anheuser-Busch.

InBev has announced their plans to sell off Busch's theme parks division following their takeover which could take place as early as November.

The report mentioned Disney among those bidding for Sea World as well as Blackstone owned Merlin Entertainments which operates the London Eye, Alton Towers and Madame Tussauds. Bids are also expected from Spain's Parques Reunidos, owned by private equity firm Candover, and Gulf state conglomerate Dubai World.

According to InBev's bankers "We've been approached by several companies but this deal will be based on who can bring the money to the table to fund the debt needed."

I read about this the other day, but the cynic in me thinks they are indicating an "interest" only to be allowed to look at the financials to see how SW really is doing there in Orlando... I could be wrong, but I just don't think Disney would be serious about it. Perhaps if it was on neighboring property, but even then I'm not so sure...

wow!! looks great! maybe disney will hire you as a float designer! you got to get some pics of that thing rolling down main street. do they blink? and now you got to add sound! ok maybe not sound it will cost you $100 to ship it but that looks cool!
