That sounds Like a Great trip.

We are booked for June 30-5th at BWV then moving to AKV from the 5th -11th . I think DM and DsF is coming in on the 5th so we may have to switch that last part or just find them a room somewhere.

I think we are going to do MK on the 3rd (looks like it will be open until 4am same fireworks as 4th) then do Epcot on the 4th (due to the nice walk back to our place).

I think I'm going to try the FW segways but I haven't decided if it's fair to DD as she want to do them real bad and has a few years to do so.

My wife and I did the Segway tour at FW last summer. The Segways are a lot of fun to drive, but there really wasn't too much to see on the tour. Our guides were making jokes about "If you look to your right you'll see a tree." I would like to do the tour at Epcot.

Hey Dads, I found this thread by looking at the OP's siggie. I think it's cool that you all have your own thread!

I think we need to add one qualification to your list.

If you have a special savings account that you started when your daughter was born so that she will have a Disney Wedding. (I did)
By chance, if any of you are looking for a daughter to start this type of account for, I'll volunteer!

Ok, I'm leaving now. Pretend that I was never here . . .
:tiptoe:

We got back from Disney World on December 3rd, 2007, the next day DW books our next trip to Disney World for December 1st, 2008.

We just found out on Sunday that we are expecting our second child.

Our new arrival to be, raised some questions in terms of cancelling our trip with DD being almost 2 next December, and the newborn being 3 months old we thought that it may not be the best decision to go, but after some thought we have decided to keep planning the trip.

We told ourselves, other families do it, so why cant we?

Congratulations on the good news! Now for the bad news... Please keep my wife in your prayers. She was in a bad car accident on Thursday night. She is sore and bruised and the van is totaled. I promise I will get to the TR but I have been consumed with taking care of my DW. Thanks in advance for your prayers!

Hello Everyone, I would like to join the club. I'll be taking my three children in March by myself. I very sorry about your wife Dis Fan our prayers are with your family.

I hope your wife has a speddy recovery. And she will be back to WDW soon to lift the family up.
Giver her a big DIS DADS club :grouphug:

Dito what the Harley-Mouse said. You both are in our prayers. Show her the disney pics to put a smile on her face.

I will be rooting for a speedy recovery for your wife and best "Wishes" for the rest of your family.
It is comforting knowing that there are other men who are like me out there. I thought I would end up in a little room, sitting in a circle of other men, confessing my "addiction". But ,alas, I have a message board to express my "problem", and couldn't be happier!
I have been 3 out the last 4 years, and plan on going every year till:
a. My son tells me to grow up (he's 4)
b. My wife tells me to grow up
c. I don't have a dime to my name.
d. all of the above.
Till then,I will live each day wanting to be somewhere else, you know?

P.S. Is there anything relating to Ub Iwerks anywhere in the parks?

Has anyone got pics with our mascot yet. turning and looking over our back or something like that??:rotfl: I will be there in 2 weeks and will try to get one:sad2:

I have been a Disney fan all my life, confirmed by the DMC entrance exam, and would be perfectly happy vacationing there every year.Unfortunately, my DW seems to think they are other places to vacation. Luckily I have my DD13 indoctrinated into the Disney cult and the wife does not have the energy to fight us both about vacation. It just means I have to suck it up and spend a week every so often vacationing someplace else. On the upside this years non-Disney vacation will be a week at Universal Studios. Looking forward to hearing the adventures, trials, and tribulations of fellow Disney dads.
I think I'm going to try the FW segways but I haven't decided if it's fair to DD as she want to do them real bad and has a few years to do so.

Me and a buddy of mine did the WS segway tour and had a great time. I will be doing the WL segway tour on my next visit.

TDF, hope your wife has a speedy recovery.

Add me to the DIS Dad's Club - #1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 23, 26, 27,29, 30, 32, 39, 40, 41, 45, 48, 49, 54. Plus we were at WDW during our Honeymoon is 1973, so the DW and I have been hooked for a long time. Our motorhome has Disney stuff on and in it, too, and our golf cart is Lime Green :thumbsup2.
