Need some help/ advice from Dis Dad's out there. I will be at WDW in May, and it will be the first time with my DS, who will be 5 months old. I have been to WDW numerous times before, with my DD 2yo, and with nieces and nephews, but none of them were younger than 1yo. Are there any "dark rides to avoid, or to go on, etc. Any advice will be appreciated.

I would avoid 3d movies(Muppets, Tough To Be A Bug, and Honey I Shrunk The Audience) They may be really cute to us but very loud and dark to them.
For nap time, you can't beat Hall of Presidents, American Adventure, Transportation Authority and Space-ship Earth (just try not to fall asleep yourself) Be sure to use the child swap for the rides he can't go on.

I did so this morning. I pass through every week, well, almost. I get on I-10 west from the causeway. Is that close enough? I think the city can hear me from there.

Did not get a photo with goofy, DD8 was over the autographs, she got enough last year and wanted rides this year.

#11 Who can afford stock? I spend all my money at the parks or the Japan Disney Store
#13 I don't understand a MP3 player but my CD case is full of Disney soundtracks and CDs
#22 I have 11 Mickey watches and 3 Goofy watches
#25 I have over 40 Disney ties and atleast a dozen pairs of Disney Boxers
#33 I never forget my wife's birthday because it's the same day as Mickeys

Just a couple that more that may help my pledge for membership.

I teach and not a class passes by where I don't use a Disney Story as an example.
I have been to 9 out of the 11 parks in the world and a Disney Cruise
Tokyo Disney SEAs, I went to over 20 times in the last 3 years, Tokyodisneyland over 25 times in the last 3 years.
Used to work at EPCOT
I could go on and on...Can I join?

Yes, this is my first Trip Report and I hope I will not bore you too much. If it turns out to be 1/10 as good as Tokyodisneydad's TR I will consider this to be a great success. Also, please let me apologize in advance for not having great pictures. We took a bunch of pictures but a lot of them did not turn out that good. I have my uploads set to 640X480 so I on't have to worry about resizing them.

Once you have them loaded just click on the IMGcode box and that saves it to clipboard. Then just paste it in your post and your set.

I have sub albums for the different parks, characters,and resorts.

Thanks - and we just so much buy into the 7-year-old thing - we were just talking about Peter Pan's Flight (since it has a refurb coming up), and I know that it isn't logical, but I really felt like I was flying over London. At the same time, I'm glad that I'm not 7, as they wouldn't have let me into Victoria & Albert's - and I wouldn't have wanted to miss that either.

DD understands about WDW and is using that as a bribe to get me healthier (physically), and if I meet some weight loss goals, she will be taking us to WDW in December for a week at her expense.
