I am sure we will rack up at least five hundred or so pics over the nine days in the World.

500 in 9 days... ahh I remember those days... we did about 500 in 2 days at DL 2 weeks ago. I just finished yesterday organzing, deleting, renaming and printing out several for frames & scrapbook... I think we came home with about 1800 last Sept. for 8 days at the world - so you can see our average is about 225-250 per day. Crazy, I know - but that's definitely one of the beauties of digital - you just snap, snap, snap and delete later. Trouble is - I have a hard time deleting pix of my kids!! :rotfl: I also have trouble deleting pix of the castles, attractions, characters, overall Disney scenery.... :confused3 so many times my DW will say, "you've taken a picture of the ____ before" - and I'll always have some snappy reason for why I need another, newer one. :lmao:

Thanks for the purple, nice touch.

just for you buddy!!

Enjoy your reunion tonight I 'm sure you miss them very much by now.

You betcha - can't wait. Just got off the phone with my wife, and they're in Dallas now... waiting for plane #2...

Here's a picture of us at California Adventure. It was a beautiful day - even though it was July it started out with some of CA's "June Gloom" - but the clouds burned off around noon, and it was a gorgeous afternoon - in the upper 70's in late July was fabulous too!

And then here we are across the esplanade at the original Magic Kingdom... Walt's own Disneyland. It was warmer that day, in the mid-upper 80's, but just gorgeous. Here we were before our nephews arrived with my MIL. We rode the new OBA into the park - which was new and different for us - I've always had a thing about entering for the first time in the morning via Main Street, but this time since we were staying at the hotel we made the choice to enter via monorail. Then we had breakfast at the Blue Ribbon Bakery on MS while we waited for the nephews to arrive and join us for a fun day.

(We had just finished our photopass shot, and here my dd is still holding her hands to support "tinker bell"... and "looking" at her - oh well, I didn't notice that until sitting at the bakery! :confused3 )

Played the local muni, made the turn at +4 with a chance to break 80, but then the wheels came off. It's hard to keep it togehter for a full 18 when you don't play much. Oh well, had a lot of fun with some old friends:cool1:

Have you play any courses at WDW?

Played the Palm last August (2007). Wow I got my tail kicked there. 18th hole is amazing.

Not yet, one of my things to do when the kids are out of the house things... It's hard to bring your clubs on vacation and let the wife think it was a spur of the moment....

Wellsley CC??

:welcome: Read back , get settled in and have a great time

some suggestions for additional qualifications.

1.- Only know one phrase in spanish-"please stand clear of the doors..."
2.-Can identify restaurants with the signature food (Tonga Toast, etc.)
3.-Have at least one "souvenir" (child) from your trip.
4.- Have antenna toppers on all your vehicles, even at work(looks really cool on construction, aircraft support vehicles and aircraft)
5.- Know the roads at and around WDW better then own neighborhood.

Hey Dads I learned something pretty cool on another thread. The Coral Reef restaurant will personalize the menu for you. All you have to do is send pictures. They will also have a diver swim by your table with a personalized sign. I made a reservation for the first night we are in the world. I was lucky enough to get a diver reserved for me (they only have so many they will do a day). And I am emailing pictures. My wife is going to be so surprised. I can't wait!:cool1:

I was wondering how that worked. We ate there in '06 and there was a family celebrating their daughter's b-day, and the divers came up with a sign wishing her happy b-day, and we had no clue how it worked. Is there a charge, or do they actually do it for free? I know that free is just not in their vocabulary very often, so if there's no charge I might just fall over... :lmao:

Just found this thread and am glad to join!!!! Planning another trip for 2009.

BTW....It's Helmets and Pads season. GOT JETS!!!!

the first one should be; you know the meaning of, or the only Spanish you know is: "Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas"

how did you know about my little souvenir? :rotfl2:

:welcome:
