I'd love to go to Biergarten to see the show but being a picky eater there's nothing there that I would eat (go figure and I'm 100% German:confused3):lmao:

Like a lot of these. Not a big fan of Biergarten or Nine Dragons. On our last trip we did Rose and Crown for the first time. Food was good, not great but sitting at our table, having desert and watching Illuminations was pretty cool. Let us know how you fared. Would be interested because some of your choices I haven't gone to in a while.

Fed, sorry to hear about your ankle. At least tell us you scored a goal to win the game.

Good morning guys :thumbsup2

Fed, sorry to hear about the ankle.

I get on a plane today and after a two hour flight I will be in.........Minnesota :headache:

I do have a small confession to make, forgive me Fed for I have goofed up. I watched my very first episode of NCIS over the weekend. It was pretty good.

When are you coming to Kings Bay?

Well, as some of you know from Facebook, Ole DF went and broke his ankle on Sunday in a soccer match...man, I'm HURTING!! I've forgotten how bad these kind of things hurt:lmao:

OH well, at least it happened AFTER my WDW trip and not BEFORE!

Dont know now. I cant get the Chief on the boat to call me back, I dont know how many times I have called him and left messages.

Sorry to hear about your ankle, but now you dont have to run down those terrorists and snipers that always show up on NCIS!!:rotfl2::rotfl:

Matt

Morning folks! Have a great Tuesday. I have training and parent-teacher conference tonight so won't be home till late. Life as a teacher sometimes.

how did you make out with all the rain???? hopefully you were to far west.

We didn't get wet at all from that storm. It missed us by literally 15 miles, tops. I did feel the earthquake though.:confused3

The ADRs look great, BTW.

Have a good Tuesday, Disdads. I'll stop by this evening.

Cheers,
Indy

Morning all. Tired today. DS hasn't figure out how to sleep through the night yet. He really needs to get on his game asap. I think 4 weeks is long enough to wait. :confused3

Keep pinching Little Paul throughout the day, he'll sleep all night.

Congrats! The running joke amongst our friends is that we will end up with a Disney baby as our souvenir from this upcoming trip.
Thanks! Is that a souvenir that you want??:confused3 :lmao:

We did the double stroller (front/back). It was hard folding/ lugging it on the bus, but great with both kids. The back laid down so my younger one could sleep.
We've already had that conversation. DW said she wants to ask the grandparents for a double stroller for Christmas. I told her to wait until we get back from Disney before she tells them what kind she wants. They're going to be everywhere, so we can see which ones are easier to maneuver and fold easier.:lmao::rotfl2:

Pretty good??? Really??? What about awesome, amazing, incredible, fantastic?

That's like saying bacon is "pretty good." :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Remember Me? Looks like I've been neglecting the "Father Thread" lately. I've skimmed everything so I think I'm caught up.

CJ - hope everything turns out OK with DD. How's she feeling today?

Welcome to the new guys!

Congrats again Andy! When DS came along, we got a double stroller where they single file. The hardest part about that was DD always wanted to sit in the front so she could see, but that put extra weight on the front tires and made turning harder.
The side by side double strollers were nicer in that regard - especially the 3 or 4 wheel "jogging" models with the big tires. The rolled like a dream. Except in narrow doorways or store isles.

You're danged if you do, danged if you don't. :confused3

Hahah. Thanks for the advice, I'll put both to good use! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

First off, congrats!!! :cool1:

Second off, we got the Joovy caboose ultralight double stroller. The second seat is in the back, but it's easy for DD to jump on and off, and since she's all over the place it works perfectly. It's also light and really easy to move/fold etc. Seems perfect for a newborn and a toddler.

I'm actually starting to think about getting a couple of single strollers and then spending a little time playing with the welder. If side by side is too wide and front/back could potentially block someone's view then why not go with a double decker???:confused3 :rotfl2:

DW wants a side by side jogger. We've got plenty of time... that's why I'm trying to tell her to wait and see what looks easy to work with.

Last time we went with 2 kids in strollers we did the unconventional and brought 2 stollers. We had 1 which was the main, (Graco Quatro) and an umbrella stroller. We would keep the umbrella folded up and stored in the bottom of the Quatro and pulled it out as necessary. Our kids were all out of their strollers most of the time so the only time we ended up using both was near the end of the days when our oldest was wiped and the middle was asleep. Our last visit with all 3 kids, we only brought the 1 stroller and told the older 2 to take turns when Megan didn't need it. That and I ended up giving a few shoulder rides as necessary.

Just some food for thought.

CJ: How's your daughter doing? I hope her headaches are getting better.

Curse you Captain Oblivious!!!!!

Ummmm, yeah. Let's see, 2-0 and by a grand total of 4.85 + 0.6 = 5.45!!!

Talk about squeaking it out!

Keep this up and I'll fill your facebook page with drivel. :rotfl2:

Ah-HA! So I have found the place of respite for DDs who need to Disney-validate themselves somewhere because everyone else is sick of hearing about it! I would be honored if I may be allowed a membership.

Why am I such a Dis-Nut? I watched the Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night when I was a kid, and dreamed of the day that I would get to go to such a magical place. I never got to do it until I was an adult. So.... the kid in me is able to find his place every time we go. And if one of the rules (we like to consider them more... "guidelines") is that you're planning your next trip as soon as you return from your current trip, well, I have it beat. I'm planning my next trip before I even go on this one. When is "this one", you ask? THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY!! Our 6th annual venture to the Food & Wine Festival. We can't wait.

Having moved from Iowa to Colorado this year, one of our big considerations for the move was the fact that we can fly DIRECTLY from Denver, non-stop, to Orlando. From Iowa, there was always a lay-over. Yes, it's a 2-hour difference, but we're talking about DISNEY! Who cares about that? You can sleep before you go, and sleep when you get back. Other than that, all bets are off! :grouphug:

Welcome! Glad you found us! You are member #653! :thumbsup2

:welcome: WELCOME TO THE DIS DAD'S CLUB! :welcome:
