Migraine, maybe? Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck! Please let us know how it goes when you have a chance

Thanks guys.

just got back from the ER. Nine hours. Not fun. She saw a neuro guy. Her right eye does not move to the right very well causing the double vision. Many "look this way" things. Then they POKED HER EYE with a Q-tip to see how it moves around. I almost lost it there. They were encouraged that it moved well when they poked it.

They ordered an MRI to rule out a tumor. They will have the results tomorrow or Tuesday. If that comes out OK they have to do a spinal tap to measure pressure and if there is an infection.

Doc, she suffers from migraines but according to her, the pain is in different places. She was sick with a bad cold and they think that might have caused something with the nerve.

Just waiting to see what is next. She is in good hands. Bascom-Palmer is one of the top eye places in the country. Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers.

Prayers will be said for her tonight.

Well a busy couple of weeks are over, just taking a few minutes to breath. Too much to catch up on though.

A few weeks ago my wife lost her job(long story), but it is a good thing we were able to put our post baby plans into place faster. We are currently getting the house ready for my wife to run an in home daycare:scared1: It has been a lot of work but we passed the fire inspection and she only has a few more steps to complete in order to get her license. She is even already caring for a 3 month old baby for a few hours each morning.

On a happier note the nursery is just about complete,:banana: just a few more pictures to hang and touch up the trim. All the furniture is put toghether and the room looks great.

I will keep everyone in our prayers and I hope to check in soon.

Thanks guys.

Scary. Glad you got to see a Neurologist & that you're in such a good place. Good luck with the MRI & ophthomologists. Hate to say "hope this is just an atypical migraine" (but I do!). God bless!

Ah-HA! So I have found the place of respite for DDs who need to Disney-validate themselves somewhere because everyone else is sick of hearing about it! I would be honored if I may be allowed a membership.

Why am I such a Dis-Nut? I watched the Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday night when I was a kid, and dreamed of the day that I would get to go to such a magical place. I never got to do it until I was an adult. So.... the kid in me is able to find his place every time we go. And if one of the rules (we like to consider them more... "guidelines") is that you're planning your next trip as soon as you return from your current trip, well, I have it beat. I'm planning my next trip before I even go on this one. When is "this one", you ask? THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY!! Our 6th annual venture to the Food & Wine Festival. We can't wait.

Having moved from Iowa to Colorado this year, one of our big considerations for the move was the fact that we can fly DIRECTLY from Denver, non-stop, to Orlando. From Iowa, there was always a lay-over. Yes, it's a 2-hour difference, but we're talking about DISNEY! Who cares about that? You can sleep before you go, and sleep when you get back. Other than that, all bets are off! :grouphug:

Just got a call from the neuro guy. The MRI of her brain found nothing! OK, bad joke but I can joke about it now. The news was very positive. No tumors, pressure was fine and everything was normal. Next step is the "lumbar puncture" but based on the MRI he doubts that it will show anything negative.

Not sure what the steps will be after that. Doc, it might be an abnormal migraine. I will ask then. We will see as things unfold but feeling much better now.

Thanks again guys. Appreciate it.
