Ok guys. Hook me up. How do I get a cool DisDads logo in my signature and a member number?

I played around a bit, and I'm likeing the moderates over the AoA suites...we'll see, we won't book till next spring when we know the $$ situation. We'll do AoA when the novelty wears off.

Here is something to ponder, (I have, when I'm bored)....if the AoA goes over like gangbusters, will the POP be re-themed to reflect the AoA? It'll seem a bit odd to have two resorts face-to-face and not be linked.

There have been some rumors floating around to that effect, but I don't see it happening. There's quite an investment in huge icons that can't really be effectively re-purposed all around the Pop Century Resort. It's not like Disney to "waste" money spent on theming like that. I don't know that it's THAT unusual for resorts near each other to not be linked. The Poly, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian are near each other, but their only link is the monorail line, and none of them have a direct link to Wilderness Lodge.

Hey, the hand and wand from the Spaceship Earth ended up in a landfill so anything is possible. Maybe down the road, once they need to do something to freshen things up.

The other link is the $$$ you gotta pay to stay....there are days I can't believe what we spent at the Poly...:lmao:

So...any of the FTJ Dads consider going on the Onsite Education Seminar? :confused3

I am if I can get spousal approval for this research trip? :thumbsup2

I was just looking at that.
I believe I will begin lobbying for spousal approval of this research trip soon.

Doesn't the Contemporary have a boat loop to Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness?

I probably should have been clearer. My point is that they don't have any kind of thematic connection, or even a physical connection like a monorail track.

Ok that makes sense... I was counting on using that loop for transportation a few times this fall, so you had me a little concerned. :lmao:

Yeah, the red on the list for the most part appears to be restaurants run by outside interests, so hopefully it is just a matter of dotting the i's and crossing t's before they all are added. Otherwise, the dining plans just lost a whole lot of appeal.

Sign me up! I thought i joined long ago (hence the logo in the signature) back under DIS Dad's club V. Oh well, ill try again!!

Hello guys,

I am a Disney Dad hoping to join your group originally from NC and now relocated to Mississippi. My wife (20 visits +) and I (12 visits) have been to Disney together every year since 2004. We are heading to Disney in October for the Food and Wine Festival with a 10 month old (2nd visit) and family.

So the Boone Goon invasion begins.........:lmao: J/K. Welcome to the nuthouse.

So...any of the FTJ Dads consider going on the Onsite Education Seminar? :confused3

I'd love to, but that is right in the middle of school start up and I can't be gone during that time.

Ok guys. Hook me up. How do I get a cool DisDads logo in my signature and a member number?

Welcome.

I totally agree.

Congrats Dave. That should pay for the gas to come and pick up the Indiana Dis Dads :lmao:
:lmao: close!:lmao:

Wow! Congrats on the found money! :cool1: But I'm guessing this has also made you realize how much she's grown up now. Enjoy your time at WDW!!! :woohoo:

I wonder if there is any money in a reality TV show that would follow Disney fanatics to WDW/WL/vacation... then document the whopping slap of reality received when work hits them in the face! :confused3 :lmao::rotfl2: :sad1:
Here's a bitter-sweet welcome back!
:welcome::badpc:
thanks don
Hey! Congratulations! Sounds like a good time to think about some more DVC points, eh?
:lmao: next step is a house in deland!:thumbsup2
Wow! I think I need to get DW to rethink her pricing model for the studio. Congrats, I know it's always hard to finish up something that's been such a huge part of your life.
thats everything. costumes, tuition, , under garments (buy stock in the panty hose companies!) and travel and lodging for 5 weekends of comps. and the comp. fees for 5 comps, for team jazz, team lyrical, team tap, 2-lyrical duets, tap solo and a lyrical sole.i forgot, team ballet.:lmao: add it all up, 14k per year!!! it was worth every penny!!:thumbsup2
