For anyone who was planning to attend the airshow in Millville, NJ, this weekend:
The Blue Angels have cancelled their appearances in Millville and they remain in a "safety stand down" after an incident during their performance in Lynchburg last weekend. It is not known when they will resume their air show schedule. Safety first!

This is a great disappointment for my wife and I, as well as our son. We hope to get to see them later in the season.

Bay Lake Towers. We love it there, but it also has the longest deed and lowest fees (but a higher price per point unfortunately!)

We made it through the storms ok last night. Just wind rain and hail locally. There were some tornadoes to the south of us though. I didn't see any damage this morning, but it was still dark when I left the house. We haven't had power since 11 pm last night, so we left at about 5:30 this morning to go to my parents' house to take showers.


Congratulations! If find that you have too many points and need someone to help use them up, just let me know.

Woo Hoo! Just called DVC member services and my wait list for two days at Boardwalk came through. The last piece of our June trip just fell in place. Can't wait!

Stayed at BLT in May for the first time and loved the place. I had a pool/lake view and a MK view for the final day. What a view.

Riding a holstein is harder than it sounds. Sure, they look nice and tame, but once you try to climb on, they get all sorts of ornery.

Afternoon, Gents -

Sitting here in western PA hoping the storms hold off long enough to get soccer in tonight. 4v4 league at 7:00. I love it. As a former lineman, I never thought I'd play soccer, but this is like a soccer/hockey hybrid - small net, 40 x 20 field, no goalie. My job, clear out the front of the net. Fun times.

As an aside, if anyone's looking for a new touring pack for the parks, I just ordered one of these. A biking buddy suggested it. Hydration pack with tons of storage, and a heckuva deal. To quote him it's "legit". Just thought I'd share.

Sorry to hear that Mike. I know that you've been looking forward to this weekend for a while now.

It was a really good show in Lynchburg and nothing looked wrong to me. I wasn't able to get over to the airport to watch but had a better seat from up on the mountain overlooking the airport and most of the city. Very cool to be able to watch them in the distance setting up for the next maneuver.

Speaking of which, northern CT was recently rated as the least likely place in the U.S. to experience at natural disaster. If you'd like information about relocating up here, I'd be happy to provide it!

As an aside, I'm finding it very hard to be productive at my desk today....

The cost of living is way too high for me in the NE. I put up with the heat and tornadoes as they are pretty much the only negatives for me here. (Minus being so far from WDW.
