Hey Guys..... Guys....Where'd everybody go?
Maybe I smell bad?
sniff, sniff
awwwww!
(Sticks head directly under then Dole Whip spout takes a squirt and runs away)
So that's what I smelled??? You really do need one of those Dole Whip showers that Mark was talking about in your TR.

You are officially set up for a shameless plug

I need to show DW this...."See? 7 goes on the Haunted Mansion isn't that bad!

But since the Star Tours experience changes and there are 50 potentially different ride combinations. Doesn't that make multiple rides more acceptable or even required?

Works for me...I doubt we'll get that many in, it's up in the air whether or not DD2 will be tall enough yey, or brave enough. If we use FP or rider swap, the big winner is DD1, who'll get to ride with both DW and I

 I'm not sure how many rides I can handle in a simulator type ride. I definitely intend to find out though.

The only time I ever feel motion sickness is on rides that move while I'm looking at a screen.:confused3

Yeah our DS wins that way too. He gets to ride everything with mom and then again with Dad.

All the reports I'm reading are that Star Tours 2 is better than any other 3D movie experience anywhere - in any context, whether movie theater or theme park attraction. They're using a different technology on the main screen. It's not Disney Digital 3D. It's a process developed by Lucas at Lucasfilm/ILM called Dolby Digital 3D. Even the glasses are different. That, combined with reportedly much improved ride mechanics, appear to lead to an attraction that is far less subject to motion sickness issues as compared to the previous iteration.

Mmmmm Pineapple-ie stickiness.

Woohoo! I doo like shameless plug opportunities. Hey look there's a link to my TR in my signature right below this.

You need to ask for the complimentary Star Tours 2 barf bag*. It's much improved over the Star Tours barf bag.

*barf bag may not actually exist.

Interesting... I loved the old Star Tours anyways, so hearing that the 3-D changes are an improvement on Disney's usual 3-D rides is great news... Can't wait to get down and check it out for myself...

Yeah, I've heard the same thing. I definitely hope it is true, and maybe even a sign of good things to come in the future for other similar attractions. I have to say the "newer" rides like that at Universal's IoA (Spiderman and the Simpsons) seemed to be a little bit easier for me to ride. Maybe new and improved hydraulics technology?:confused3

Nothing quite like barfing into a non-existent barf bag. Fun for everyone!:thumbsup2

That sounds way cool. Being a full-time glasses-wearer, 3D has always been a bit of an issue for me.

Mmmmm Pineapple-ie stickiness.

I just thought that sounded like something a rich person would do, just because he could.

Your wife has a purse, right?

Thanks everyone on the coach/parent input. Since we've only had practices so far, I've been assisting in teaching the way the coach wants things taught (proper foot work on fielding, throwing, etc). I've seen enough of "those parents" to know that I don't ever want to be one!

And here I wasted post 2,500 commenting on Barry's TR. :sad2: :rotfl2:

:woohoo::woohoo:

I think there can be 54 unique experiences. Ergo, a minimum of 54 shall be required. :thumbsup2

(I have no idea what "ergo" means, but I makes me sound smart when I use it)

It does make you sound smart... and it makes me think of waffles. mmmm waffles.

:thumbsup2 Right, but she's going to be waiting outside since we'll have to do rider swap, and I really don't plan to carry it with me to ride by myself.:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

This is a situation where it would be handy to carry a murse. It's probably one of the few accessories that saying "Don't worry,I only carry it to puke in" would make more acceptable to the mainstream.

Or I could just tell everybody it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.:thumbsup2:lmao::rotfl2:

Why not BOTH? :thumbsup2

Best. Idea. Ever.

I was just kidding!! It seems that ones that don't have experience with Disney skip pecos bill.. It has never really been packed anytime that we have gone.. I really like pecos bill because they have a delicious fix ins bar for burgers and salads.. Pecos bill is awesome if you wanna get in.. Eat and get out!! :thumbsup2

I know. Sarcasm doesn't translate well on screen. We need a sarcasm emoticon. I'll volunteer a picture of myself. I myself and a huge fan of "Fixins Bars". Anytime you can add an extra 1200 calories to a burger by topping it with baked beans and coleslaw. . . .win.

Pecos Bill's is one of our favorite stops. Their taco salad is fantastic!

This conjures up thoughts of the old Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" Mr. Taco Salad Inventor . . . . "Only you can take a salad and make it worth twelve THOUSAND calories".

If you want a burger, Pecos Bill's, if you want chicken or fish, Columbia Harbor House. Simple as that. They're both fine places to eat.:thumbsup2

I guess, for potentially the only time during out trip, we'll be able to decide where we're eating by "what we're in the mood for. . . . "

Cheers,
Indy
