I know there are some that LOVE the man laws & cheeseballs slogan.

Personally, i prefer "Off Topic since 2007"

That being said, I'm not versed in Photoshop, and your work is extraordinary. So, you are welcome to throw my suggestions under the bus.
(of course, i don't know what most of the abbreviations stand for. I'm guessing TSM is Toy Story Mania?
and, should "DW" for "Dole Whip" be on the compass somewhere? So the compass can point to whatever you want MOST?
While I can use "Off Topic since 2007" It would crunch the words together and make it harder to read. I chose to leave dole whips off because the acronym "DW" means something totally different to us.

I like it. :thumbsup2<----- thumb. Oh, and thanks for putting my local Baltimore airport on it, BWI. :lmao:
:thumbsup2 Just for you!

She is teaching our 1 year old twins baby sign language ( she saw it on tv, or Oprah I think, and bought all the books). I am sure you have heard how that sometimes identical twins can develop their own twin talk, between them. Well, apparently our two have developed their own twin sign talk! They have been walking around the house little arms and hands flailling about trying to tell us things and we can't figure it out, but apparently the other one knows! ! It is very frustrating, it was bad enough that when they did the real signs I would have to go the my wife or one of the older kids to come interprit, but now they are the only two who understand each other ! ! !

Wow, that sounds really cool, really funny, and really frustrating all at the same time.

My wife and I did the same with our kids (now 11 and 14) - it made for a very peaceful house. Even as little as 9 months old we'd begin by teaching "milk", "more", "please", "eat/food", and "hug". For a little background, my wife has been partially deaf since a botched ear surgery when she was 10 so she knew a little anyway, but all of these signs are easy for a child to learn and easy to find on the net. Any time we would provide a service to the child we'd do the sign, then give it- like you'd train a dog. It worked very well - having your kids at a year or less be able to communicate with you what they want instead of just crying helped a lot.

Now, of course, with my wife legally deaf (and me getting close), it helps to know some of these signs. While I'm not avoiding learning sign I'm also not too interested in applying myself to a new language. Not yet anyway. It is nice to be able to talk with your wife or kids across a crowded room.

So, I've heard bad news about Tron: Legacy. I didn't get a chance to see it in the theater but got it this weekend on Blu-Ray via Netflix. We got 85% of the way through the movie (on the trek back to the portal) before a 1" gash in the disc ruined our ability to watch the movie. Until that point we were loving the flick. Everything I heard about the story was that it was drudgingly slow, hard to follow, boring, etc... Honestly, I loved it. The nightclub guy was a little weird but all in all I love the story so far.

I'm looking forward to the end of the movie, whenever it arrives at my house.

Has any of the DDC found that they didn't like this movie? Am I a freak for enjoying the beverly out of it?

In other news, any gamers in the crowd? My anniversary is tomorrow (lucky #13!) and I may get Portal2 (PC) for it. As a Half-Life fan since '98, I'm not only looking forward to this, I'm nearly salivating. The only thing that I'm looking forward to more would be Half-Life 3 (episode 3). My wife has been on me to order/pre-order it for months and we plug the computer into the TV so we can all share in the experience and my kids watch me go through it like a movie.

Any one else looking forward to this or any other games?

Co-operative portal. I'm really looking forward to this. Do you know if the multiplayer will be cross platform?

The cake is a lie

From my understanding it is. Fwiw, I run Win7 on my iMac so I plan on testing Portal2 on both PC and Mac.

Steam: rental01
PS3: unclerenty

I need your help dads, and especially those who are TA. We have already put a deposit on a November trip. 7 days at Pop basic ticket and basic dining. My DW has invited her parents to come with us now. She wants them to be with the girls before they get too old to travel. I looked at Disney.com and for the two of them it looks to be right at $1600 if we switch to the quick service dining option.

I tried to call but the wait was too long and I had some actual work to get done :headache:

Is the price listed on the website the best they give? Is it worth me even calling? DW wants to give this to them as a Turkey Day/Christmas/Anniversary present so I am trying to oblige.

Thanks for your help :thumbsup2

I like it a lot, but I LOVE the soundtrack! DS and I like to watch that movie in the media room (Man Cave) and crank it way up until DW is screaming at us to turn it down - then back it off a half a notch. :D I keep telling DW I didn't spend all that money on the speakers, receiver, and projector to watch a movie at 'home' levels - I want movie theater levels!

Good job guys...I go away into the woods with Scouts for the weekend and you all add about 26 pages... nice!:thumbsup2. And the most talkative this time around is that crazy duck David! He's my bet for the next "close the thread" contest, which looks to be gearing up, what, tomorrow? Wednesday at the latest...
