I just bought my wife an ipad 2 for her birthday... She loves it but you have to stand in line at the apple store to get it!!

How would you rate it against the first version of iPad?

I love ours...I was lucky enough to get one on release day.

Well she just got it today.. We have 3 iPads and one iPad 2. The iPad 2 is loads faster but the regular iPad is fast enough for me. The mirroring is pretty cool (you hook it up to your tv and you see whatever is on the iPad 2) but I have 64" plasma and it is noticeably blurry on my screen. Thinner and a little lighter than the regular iPad. I would not trade in my regular iPad for the iPad 2 but if I hadn't already purchased my regular iPads then I would be standing in line for the iPad 2!

Wife is having a B-day in 11 days...and I'm drawing a blank for gift ideas...when I ask...she has no ideas either.

How about a trip?

I don't know... I'm thinking something in the southern climes?

Work with me here... perhaps something with a castle involved...

...perhaps even a pair of rodents... and a pair of ducks... some dogs... some chipmunks...












But if that's a bit too much, or you have no time to pull it off... you could always get her something that plugs in like a toaster, or a hair dryer, or an iron... I'm sure she'd love those choices! Of course you might end up in the dog house too...

so, I go outside to check the mail for one minute, when I get back inside, my girls managed to eject the Tangled DVD that they've been watching repeatedly since Monday and put in the Disney Vacation Planning DVD, I think they're trying to tell me something.... the good news, I have a second interview scheduled for next week, so, they might get their wish after all.....
