The first rule of the Disney College of Knowledge is you do not talk about the Disney College of Knowledge.

It's a training program for Disney Travel Agents.

Ahh...I see ....I just thought that the ears were cool....:thumbsup2

Oooohh...ownage....OK...I'll take a 5 pt per post commission I suppose. :thumbsup2

OK - someone fill me in on this College of Knowledge Mickey Hat - I know....probably a newb question.

I believe it is Disney's orientation program for travel agents. I'm sure several of the ones on here can elaborate...

That, my friend, WAS BRILLIANT!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

And yes it is for the Disney Orientation program for us Travel agents. You earn your ears by completing the Basic courses. You get a very cool "trading" pin for graduating the Advanced courses which my Nemesis and I have both completed recently.

As small as this milestone is compared to some on this board it's still big for me. My love affair with Disney began when I was taken to the park in '78 with my family. Since '78 though, I've traveled to the parks on single day trips more than I can count. I joined the DIS Boards in 2009 before our first on-campus stay so I could learn more about the parks and learn about what it's like to stay IN Disney. I picked up invaluable knowledge but here in the DDC I've found great friends. I look forward to the day when I can participate in a DDC meet @ the world someday. I've either started or participated in at least two (3 maybe?) MAN LAWS and learned more about what it's like to be a real DIS Dad.

Thanks everyone!

Edit: Oh yeah, and I learned about the joy of Dole Whips. My life hasn't been the same ever since!

Here's looking forward to the next 500!

Well done. Congratulations on the milestone.

I just spit chewed twizzlers on my computer screen :lmao:

Again, pictures or it didn't happen :lmao:

Okay, so let me get this straight. I requested membership last night on page 147, was accepted on page 152 and we're now on page 164 less than 24 hours after my request?

Yeah, it was kind of a slow day...

Good choices!! We are going to try to get in to the Cali Grill this trip as well. First time. We are also going to try the Wishes Desert Buffet. Has anyone else done that? Is it worth the extra $$?

I've done it a couple of times. I think I would have to consider it not quite worth the money. My wife and I went on a grown-ups trip. That was probably the best value for the money, even though we were seated behind a pillar. Worst seat in the house BY FAR. When we went back with the DDs, there was just no way that they were going to eat that much dessert that wasn't ice cream. The desserts were pretty good, all around, and the setting is lovely. Everybody generally gets up to watch the fireworks, which is too bad because I think it would be a much more enjoyable experience if you could sit down and have a better view of the fireworks.

Scored again! We were staying all 7 days at the AK Kidani. Called Member Services and they had two nights at the Boardwalk at the end of the trip. I usually don’t like to change rooms but since it was BWV (my home resort and favorite) I changed it. Also waitlisted for BWV the 2 previous days.

The mojo is running strong right now. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.

Good score:thumbsup2

I have always enjoyed the Rose and Crown. I think you will have fun.

A good friend of mine is a Brit and I need him to decipher the menu. What the heck is a Bubble and Squeak? The mind can go in many disturbing directions trying to figure that one out.

CG is my favorite restaurant at WDW. Expensive but is worth the $. If your experience is anything like mine have been, you should enjoy it. I tried to get dinner around Wishes but couldn’t. Oh well. We can always come back later but we may find another spot to watch the fireworks.

I was also thinking about the Desert Buffet and am interested in any responses.

Nice! I'm pretty sure Remy still visits the tables. He did when we were there last June. I can ask for you this week.

3pm Meeting cancelled  Shhhh! Going to sneak out early...

Cool! Have a great trip Chris. Mums the word on sneaking out early. I mean attending a consultation this afternoon.

Has the nemesis status become official?

Podcast Episode 4 Email sent. The panel for Episode 4 is:
DEA, prattpak, the duck 619, DisDr. and mrmrezg

We'll be talking mostly about Disney Hollywood Studios.

A quick thank you to billybobblockhead, who was originally scheduled to appear on this podcast, but who graciously stepped aside for another time when I realized that having him and mrmrezg on the same show would mean having two guys named Greg on at the same time, and that's just too confusing for a bear of very little brain like me.

Well done. Congratulations on the milestone.

The problem with pics is that it would reveal the secret location of my lair :lmao:

I didn't think ducks were up to using lairs... I thought they are more of the nest variety. But perhaps your awesomeness did away with nesting. :confused3

I think this thread has shown how civil and well mannered we are :lmao::lmao:

I mean it can't be long before Dave is on the podcast discussing the ramifications on porcelin after eating expire mayonaise :rotfl2::rotfl2:

well, now that you mentioned it. there has been a staining problem since the industry has gone with the 1.5 flush toilets. it seams the drop zones, im not kidding, thats what the industry calls them, the drop zone have gotten smaller due to less water in the bowl. causing staining of the finish on the drop zone. but, they are working on it.:thumbsup2 toto toilets, when flushed, blast most of anything that could be laying in, on or around the drop zone. due to the 31/4 trap passages of the toto, the beating that the said deposit takes before it hits the trap, makes for a better, no cloggong toilet. :thumbsup2
