now back to on topic, walt disney world has one of the most state of the art sewer plants in the country. they use water hyacinths to absorb the waste. they convert the water to fresh water. just another reason not not drink the water.

I think we may have found the source of the funny taste in the water....

That's a pretty amazing feat there Dave, you just made the coffee at disney less enticing.

i went to a trade show conf. a few years ago and i walked into our vendors room for pumps, wells, sewer etc... and they were talking about the pumps they installed at the wdw complex in orlando. my big ears perked up. so i sat and watched the slide show and how this thing worked. its pretty cool how it works.

next time in the mk, try the drinking fountain over by the haunted mansion, the water just barely comes out.than try one over in fantasey land, the water shoots out over the sink. the pumps to pressure the system are behind fantasey land. on a hot day with alot of people in the park you can see it really good.

ever notice in the bathrooms in your on property hotel, it has the card about how much laundry detergent and water is used to wash towels only used one time? and how wastefull it is? what they dont tell you is ITS ALL THE SAME REFURBED WATER !
