There is no money involved and the only rule is that your team must have a Disney related name - the more clever the better. So far we have, among other names, The Sorcerer's Bat, The Hittin' Mickeys, Winnie the Pujols and a host of others.

When we were down for Food and Wine, I went into the new Karamel Küche in the Germany Pavilion. I tried the caramel popcorn. For the rest of the trip, I continued trying the caramel popcorn. It is to Cracker Jacks as the filet at Le Cellier is to beef jerky.

Caramel kuche?? Didn't see it EVER! But the last word in in the title in my house is a "peanut butter" word!

I love the plain old buttered popcorn at the carts..in any of the parks!!

The DW and I were discussing what the best treats in WDW are. I love the German Roasted Almonds at the entrance of World Showcase. Especially while watching the fireworks.

The best snack at WDW? Whatever is in my hand at any given moment!
I'll echo Dole Whips, but I'm also a sucker for those Rice Krispie (sorry, Krisped Rice) Treats with the chocolate on top.

I thought that mine was clever as well. While it was simple in nature (kind like me), it has a reference from some of the earlier days of Goofy.


I had decided to make a better effort to post more and stay involved with the DDC. The last go around I was struggling to keep up with work and was not able to post and keep up. After today I realize why I fell behind.

Oh… On a completely unnecessary side note, I noticed that Squeaker has a new avatar in your sig. Just curious what the reference was? Clobbering a monitor with a hammer seemed to fit a three-year-old perfectly, but this one seems a bit more of an inside joke (either that or the boy just likes the look of the paw print and asked for it specifically).

Squeaker saw the "hitting the computer with a hammer" avatar and asked about it. When I explained that it was him, he was kind of offended. So we searched through the other options available, and he chose to be the paw print (he's a Blue's Clues fan). His second choice was to be the group hug.

I think Squeaker was kind of insulted.
When I first chose that as his "avatar", he had undiagnosed and untreated ADHD. I'm still amazed that we survived our Disney trip with him in that state.

We started the diagnosis and treatment process as soon as we got back, and his behavior has improved 500% since back then. So I think he just wanted a little credit for his progress, and I was happy to give it to him.

I had the same "smash the computer" avatar chosen for my little guy, too. He thought it was funny, but eventually he requested the dancing puppy dog.
