Fortunate enough to have Chris (that's nice) and Mark (Captain Oblivious) at my house today for a Dis Dad's meet with our respective families! It was a blast and I can't wait to do it again!

Boy, we are a photogenic bunch!

Great picture!!! Meeting in person just seems to further solidify the friendships we have all made on here. I am looking forward to when I can meet more of you guys!

Actually - SpectroMagic is on hiatus. It has been since the end of May 2010. The Main Street Electrical Parade was sent back to Florida from California, since Disney California Adventure is under such massive construction, that there was no way they could even run a parade any more during construction - plus - with the May 2010 opening of World of Color - they decided that they didn't need the logistical nightmare of two nighttime spectaculars at DCA. FL was ready for something new, after the 2009 smashing success of "Summer Nightastic!" at Disneyland... so they opted to try for their own version of "Summer Nightastic!" at Walt Disney World... so the Magic Kingdom got the return of the perennial classic, the Main Street Electrical Parade, which last ran down Main Street, U.S.A. in Florida in 2000. At this point - MSEP is the only nighttime offering, and will remain in Florida through the balance of 2011 and into 2012. Whether SpectroMagic returns to the MK or not remains to be seen. Something new has been bandied about, and SM might never return.

Thanks, Guys! We had our grandson all day again so I'm still struggling to keep up with all the pages that are flying by! Not only did our DD have her in 19 minutes but they were discharged only 37 hours later! And, 19 minutes was not the hospital record. Amazing! I sure hope we get to take her to meet Mickey long before she earns her Blue Angels crest! I'm going to bed!

Wow...that's kinda sad that spectromagic may not return. The music just takes me back instantly. Great memories!
