I gotta ask, Who saw the parade, I thought it was put together nicely, a few of the musicial acts I would have done without (Idol,Glee,Little Girl that sounds like she's 46)

Got it taped or Tivo'd or something. We always have to travel right when it comes on. Hopefully we can watch it in a couple of days when we get home.

Well, we had a good Christmas. First one since I can remember that we didn't have a big family gathering. Due to conflicting schedules with several family members, we pushed our gathering off until next weekend. So we had all day on Saturday to open gifts, fight with the packaging and play with our new toys. DD and I never took off our pajamas.
And I've got the rarest of Christmas presents coming up - a one day work week.

On a positive note, central PA was spared from the snowfall in the Northeast.

Morning DisDads!! Merry (late) CHristmas!!! Sorry wasnt here this weekend to say Merry Christmas was to engrossed with the kids in Epic Mickey. What a sweet game that is!.
My daughter got me a new Disney watch. She went online and customized it, designed it, and paid for it out of her own money.

and the back is inscribed to:

A watch I will treasure. Very special to her and twice as special to her Daddy!

oh and the wife got me the Monorail playset!

WE'LL TAKE IT!!! Havent had any snow in Denver this season!! The mountians have had "Epic" snowfall according to the weatherman. Why does he deny us of any snow. Hate that guy!

I didn't get a chance to post anything on Christmas day but I did want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday, or for all the Phillies Phans Merry Cliffmas and Happy Halladay's!

I have a question that I am hoping that someone can help me out with. I have wanted a handheld GPS for a while now for Geocaching, hiking, fishing etc. My parents bought me one for christmas and I am not sure it is the right one. I did not do a lot of research prior to christmas and just mentioned it in passing one day to my parents. They bought me a Garmin Dakota 20. I have now done a lot of research over the last two days and still can't figure out if I should keep it or take it back for another. It seems like a good unit but I was wondering if maybe one of you guys had any experience with this unit? Anyone?

I absolutely love that watch. That is worth more than having a Rolex on your wrist. Very, very cool.

I've got an old Garmin (GPSMAP 60CS) and really like it. The Dakota looks like a nice unit and perfect for what you are using it for. If you want to upgrade, they have one called the Oregon that looks awesome. If it's of any help, the Garmin website has a tool that can help you pick the product that would best suit your needs.

I Googled it and it looks like a very nice unit. We use a Magellan Explorist 210 for Geocaching and that works well for us. We've been caching for about 6 or 7 years, I guess. Have fun! If you are ever in the Easton area, look up Team SAR-Dogs' caches.

Hey guys....I am off work this week and enjoying the time off with family and not feeling pressured to be anywhere at any certain time!! The snow that is hitting the northeast was supposed to hit us but thank goodness it didnt! (sorry to those Dads who are getting hammered!)

We have been trying to play with Epic Mickey...but I am not much of a gamer and I cant get out of the castle!! What the crap and I doing wrong???

Well, I need toi fire up the bulldozer and try to shovel garbage out of the house to the end of the driveway for pickup day tomorrow!

Try googling "Epic Mickey Walkthrough". The one on videogamesblogger looks pretty good. I'd be home playing it myself, but one of my partners called in "sick" and I had to cover. There should be a special punishment for calling in sick with a foot of snow...

Just did some geocaching today at lunch. I use my blackberry storm2 with Trimble's Geocaching app. Found a geocoin that has travelled from Denmark to Colorado since 2007 and has now logged 16601 miles. Had to get another before the snow hits us FINALLY at the end of the week.

Thats cheating....whats the website again? Stupid IASW part has me stuck too. Im glad the writers of the game find IASW as scary a place as I do in real life!

I think if I had to work because someone else was lazy and pretending to be sick my head would explode!!!
