Work and life have gotten dowright crazy lately. Blargh. I hope to get a chance to come up for air some time in February.

Good luck with everything. I knew you had a lot going on since even before you left for your trip and it doesn't sound like things have let up for you. I was thinking about your trip report earlier... been quiet, but I figured your plate was just a little, well, overflowing.

I hope everything settles down for you, preferably before February. Hang in there!

Whoa!! What's with the cold front hitting Orlando next week? Next Tuesday- 64 degrees. Wednesday 61! Those are the temperatures I'm flying away from.

MIJO - How is your son doing? he should have started by now with the Blue Angels.

Kevin ~ Thanks for asking! Yep, our son joined up with them in the beginning of November. They have been working long days (around 15 hours) so we don't hear from him much. He did call a couple times over the holiday and he called last night for a few minutes. He is now qualified to be in the cockpit and he can fire up and run the engines (a Crew Chief requirement). They want the 5 new CCs to be certified by Christmas and then they all head to El Centro, CA, for winter training right after New Year's. At this point, it looks like he will be one of the two CCs for the #1 jet, the Commanding Officer, or "The Boss"! I believe his unofficial title will be "1 Geek B" or something like that: #1 jet, Geek (Crew Chief), second CC. I would say he is enjoying it at this point, especially the launches and recoveries. He still has a lot to learn and practice before he becomes fully certified and gets his crest.

we made it!! got up this morning at 2:30am and hit the road. pulled in at okw at 7:30pm. dd drove us in. all three computers are up and running and the christmas is almost done. ill talk to you guys later!!!

When we went in January 2 years ago, the highest temp that we saw was 45, if I'm remembering correctly. I did get me one of those great weather proof/wool hats from the Norway pavilion, which has been wonderful in the time since.

Stomach bug has officially been eradicated from the blockhead home. My first meal "post bug" was a jumbo black bean burrito with extra salsa. Man was it good. I actually feel like living a little now.

All of you folks down or headed down to WDW have a great time. We'll hold down the fort for you.

here you go, make it official!! as i said on the dec. trip thread, we met steve and his family over at the grand flor. tonight and they are great people. it was a pleasure to meet them.

Yes indeed the first meet has happened!! We win!!! I had hoped to meet up with Randall last Sunday at MK but texting here is pretty bad. They dont go through a lot of times or have a long delay....maybe it is a Sprint issue on my end of things...i dunno. I was worried that would keep me and Dave from meeting too but it worked out! We were having dinnner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and the Tremaines. I am stuffed to the gills!!! Yesterday we were able to knock out HS and AK boht on the same day and ride everything more than once with little or NO wait times! It was amazing. Then we did the Osborne Lights and I have to admit I was not able to believe it. Tomorrow I think we are going to hit the outlet malls. Do a little Christmas shopping! I think I might have to buy a sweatshirt and jeans!!! Dave and Tim brought the cold weather with them today and I am freezing!!!

Just checking in. The Pics and Vids being posted by the folks down at the World are great. Y’all are just making me impatient to head down there (just a couple of weeks to go).

Not much going on down this way since Thanksgiving, but we do have the town Christmas parade coming up Saturday (one more chance to see and hear the band). And… Somehow or other I got drafted into sporting a white beard and red felt suit during the pre-show activities for the Singing Christmas Tree performance in the school auditorium this Friday (Lord help me to not mess this one up).

After checking in, I think I'll probably heading over to the Grand Flo myself to check out the gingerbread house, etc. Then probably over to the Studios, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty flexible. All I know for sure is I want to be to the Studios in the evening to see the Osborne lights. I haven't seen them in a few years.

85 is midrange for I 95. I'm over at the convention center, have some other stuff going on. Have to go backt J'ville tonight, will be back early next week...

Goings on here are really pushing my spare time (or lack thereof)....it has been a long week..
