I like Freeman a lot... not sure he's quite MVP caliber yet though. Also, not to take away from Rivers, but I'd still have to go with Peyton just for the simple fact that he's winning games with only 2 WR that were on his opening day roster, a #2 and #4 RB and a #3 TE. I know his numbers aren't what they normally might be, but the success he's had with that mix & match lineup is pretty impressive to me.

And Josh Freeman has WR's and RB's on his team? News to me. :lmao:

Rivers is winning as well w/o a RB(top rusher has <400 yds total), his #1 (Jackson), 2 (Floyd), and 3 (Nanee) WR's...plus Gates is gimpy. :thumbsup2

ESPN.com has a similar poll, but it is for MVP...

Manning 30%
Vick 46%
Brady 17%
Roddy White 8%

I know the numbers add up to 101% but I copied the numbers exactly as they were after I voted in the poll (for Peyton btw).
LOL Don't mind the addition... that is Connecticut accounting for ya! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I think my vote would be for Peyton but I can say with a straight face with no joking, that Michael Vick is the most exciting QB to watch in the NFL. He can run, break tackles, and throw a 50yard pass with the flick of his wrist. When someone can make it look easy, you know he has skills!

Tampa Bay is #14 in rushing yards per game, San Diego #16 and the Colts.... #27!!:scared1:

Freeman doesn't have it that bad... Williams ain't Reggie Wayne, but he's not terrible. I like Benn and Winslow too.

Yeah, your Chargers are getting bit by the injury bug too. You did pick Crayton up though, that's a nice little addition. You really can make an argument for either of them though, but one of these guys needs to get his team above .500 first.:rolleyes1

I'm not taking anything away from him though. Rivers has been very solid on a team that has struggled at times this season. Honestly, it is too early to talk MVP anyway. If they come back and win the NFC west while he's putting up numbers like he is, it would be hard to vote against him.

You're absolutely right. He has been very impressive when on the field. I love watching him and I love the numbers he's put up for my fantasy team.

I'm just not sure he's the "Most Valuable Player." Philly is still a very good team without him.

I just want it noted that my DIS Dads Fantasy Football team that led the league in scoring this week with just over 170 points did so with no Broncos or Eagles on the team.

Depends on where you work I geuss. What if you were a beer taste tester for instance?

Sign me up. I'll take that job.

Luckily, I'm still several years away from him having to get out the rectal-invader-inator. :scared1:

So, the doctor is not supposed to lower the lights and play soft music during that exam?

popcorn:: As for MVP, I will go with Vick this year. Yes, he has a great team around him. But, Emmitt Smith won MVP with the Cowboys. If Barry Sanders had Smith's offensive line. Outstanding players on winning teams are the ones selected. popcorn:: I am not a Payton Manning fan for the simple reason of that no huddle offense they run. How come when the O'lineman is set and then gets out of the stance to listen to Payton's fake signals, it is not a false start. I think the rules do not permit that, but there is a Manning exception. popcorn:: So, when the Eagles beat the Giants, Dallas will only be 3 games out of 1st place in the NFC East. They have wins with the Lions and Thanksgiving day.

Got our Tree up this weekend...

i passed on a trade for Vick 2 weeks ago. Sorry, I'll lose every game. I'm not a dog person, but, i'm not going to look past why he missed two years. I'm not saying i'm right, i'm just saying he's not on my fantasy team for that reason.

So...who else has that Epic Mickey game for the Wii on their Christmas list???

:thumbsup2

There's a new Disney Wii Game? :cool1:

I love my i-touch. It is a great entertainer for the kids and an extremely useful tool. (Thats how I sold the wife on it anyway). Its a blast!!! If you have someone who has a cell phone that has the wifi hotspot option you can upgrade for the month you are at WDW to do that option and then you have wifi for your itouch in the parks. Unlike the Kingdom Keepers books there is no wifi in the "real" WDW. There is some extremely helpful FREE Disney apps out there. I have 2 that I use a lot for planning of trips there. One is the WDW Hours app that shows me up to how ever far out WDW releases the hours for the parks, it has the EMH for each park and it has the major shows for each park including parade and fireworks schedule. The other is the WDW Maps app that shows all the rides and has the live wait times to each, it will also show where in the park I am if I have wifi.
There is a ton of free apps out there not just WDW related too. MY MIL just got one for opening a bank acct we loaded her up last night with apps for hers.
Im looking forward to the beginning of the year when Verizon offers the I-Phone.

A little Barry White to set the mood!

CRUD! On a positive note, FIL and MIL may be taking the kids next summer for 7 days at Fort Wilderness. We will know when the kids open the Christmas gifts whether it is socks or Disney tickets.

After the peanut buttery day I had today, I needed something to smile about - so I finally got back to my TR and added a new day's post. If anyone's still reading, the link to the most recent post is in my sig.

wow, without my big mouth on here wednesday we didnt even go through one page!:lmao: had dw in philly, the doctor did a field vision test on her good eye, there is no vision lost at all in her remaining eye!!! we dont have to see him till may 2011. she goes monday the 29th to philly for a mri to see what the radiation treatment has done. we leave for wdw on the 30th and when we get home she has to go back down to philly to see the dr. about the mri. hopefully its good news!! we didnt realize the dose of radiation that she got keeps working for 3 months after the treatment. it seems her eye has gone back into her socket so lets hope that the mass is gone.:thumbsup2

Hey guys.

I am so looking forward to my two upcoming Disney trips...first west, then south. :cool1: I have had a very full, busy, hard week already. I spent Monday through Wednesday in Ohio with lots of long customer meetings - with problem customers. No fun. But thankfully those are over and we are moving forward with some restructures that should help their situation, and get us back on track having performing loans again instead of troubled ones. Ugh... I hate that part of my job. Oh well... Disneyland in just 9 days, and Walt Disney World in just 17 days. I'm definitely looking forward to those. Hope you all have a great day.
