I am somewhat of a newbie, but I never knew there were some many of us out there. I just found out about Man love for DIs. I have read the requirements and meet them all. Sign me up. My two favorite things are right around the corner College Football GO DAWGS and my next trip to the MAgic.

• current favorite shows...NCIS, Survivor, Phenias&Ferb, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Pawn Stars, Top Shot, Man vs. Food, Bert The Conquerer, NFL Network, 2 new ones...Mantracker and Billy the Exterminator.

This is such a great new show. I love it. For me, it's the chance to see what all these death-trap rides are like so I never have to try them on my own.

Huh. I guess some folks just make it happen. We honeymooned at WDW, and 10 years later we were back there. And 11, and 12, and 13, and 14, and 15, and 16... by 20 we'll want to go somewhere else perhaps...

We did our honeymoon and 10-year anniversary in Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Phoenix. All in the middle of the summer.

All I have to say is:
Man cards!? Man cards?! We don't need no steenking MAN CARDS!

And if I had my way, you'd hear it for sure. I keep asking DW for some air horns off of a diesel locomotive. You know, for those times in traffic when some really ticks you off. Or when you need to say hi to a fellow DisDad.
I've run into a few technical difficulties, though.

1. I'm not entirely sure it's legal to have a horn that loud
2. The 2.5 Litres of Fury® under the hood of my van may not be able to power the compressor needed for that large of a trumpet

If you recall, I've been asking my DW for one of these as well. *blares horn*

And I'm having a hard time telling whether my wife and 2 DD's excitement is actually for the trip itself or the fact that they won't have to watch me on the laptop all nigth, everynight scouring these countless threads in search of the "Holy Grail" of disney info that I may have missed.

Or listening to every other word out of my mouth containing or being put into realtion with Disney World.

Does this qualify me for the brotherhood?

But it really wasn't bad at all. Factor in the cheap off-season rates at the resorts with many, many swimming pools, and I'd do it again!

Just found this thread today (odd since I've been on these boards for over 5 years) and felt like I needed to apply for membership.

I was not a believer not that many years ago, when my SIL, BIL and 2 DN would continually go back to WDW. Finally we went in 2005 for that "once in a lifetime" trip and I planned and researched and scoured these boards so that we would remember it forever. All it took was seeing the MK opening the first day to realize that this would only be the first of many trips.

My kids still like to give me the business on how "dusty" it was in the MK that day that I had to keep rubbing my eyes.

So although I'm not sure I could pass all 100+ criteria, I am pretty sure that I meet enough to get me a visitor's pass.

We are going to CSR on Aug 19-30 for FD and I know that I am the most excited kid in the house again!

Just checking over the Dad's Club Criteria, I realized I can add one which I didn't see (I may have just missed it). In addition to the waffle iron, telephone, DVDs, Music, Ornaments, etc. I also own a Mickey Mouse Panini/Sandwich Maker, which makes great grilled cheese sandwiches, by the way.

I can do the horn and dinner at any of the Dells' finest restaurants. But I have a strict personal policy against buying underwear for other guys.
