So how was Iron Man 2? I'd like to see that one.

Had to jump in here... DW and I watched IM2 on Friday night and I thought it was better than the first one. I don't get out to see movies in the theaters much, but I was glad I saw this one.

:lmao: I had to think about that one for a while. Kinda like the Lost finale.

Yeah... I am sooo mad I stayed up past my bedtime to that THAT finale. :headache: Biggest waste of my time yet this year. :badpc:

ok Dads...give me your input here...

We arrive at WDW on nov 28 until Dec 5....so our park days will be m/w/f...got to give the kids a day in between to rest up between days or they will never make it and then no one has fun :rotfl2:

Ethan, Lauren, and myself will all be celebrating our birthdays while we are there. Shari said she enjoyed Crystal Palace last year so I am sure that will be one of our meals...I think we want to not do Whispering Canyon this year and do something else instead to mix it up a bit...I was thinking Ohana...What other dinners should I make reservations for??? I know nothing about the princess one, but I dont want to shaft Lauren. I want her to get to do something she will enjoy too... Ideas and suggestions are welcome...One park days we will more than likely (except for Crystal Palace) just eat counter service quick on the run so I need ideas for non park days....Help!!

Also when can I make reservations???

we have been eating at ohanas the last few years and were going back in december. the meat is made over an open fire on spits and they keep bring it till your done!!!

I really enjoyed the food at Akershaus in Epcot and everyone seemed to get a lot of time with the princesses but there is no way I would do it without the dining plan, I think it was about $40 each for adults and 20 something for kids. They give you a complimenty photo they take when you first come in with one of the princesses but basically they just added what all the other restaurants charge for it into the prices. We are going to be on the lookout for counterservice and other places outside the parks this trip so I'll keep everyone updated on what we find.

Just saw on FB that Fed is in Kuwait.

This is killing me at work! They reimaged my PC last week and the new big brother software is blocking me from getting to FB. There was a loophole in the old monitoring software where they couldn't block any sites if you looked them up in Firefox but they removed it from everyones machine during the reimage and the other software they installed blocks me from loading any new applications to my local machine.

Good thing I manage the IT Helpdesk so I have them working on creating virtual desktops to the QA machines that are outside the network.

so do we call you wong fook or do we call you hing gui?

Gui will do...

In China the Last Name comes first.

So I think I'll change my last name a little to...Dawong Fook-Hing

So I can introduce my self like this...

"Hello, I'm Dawong Fook-Hing Gui." :rolleyes1

Lost Finale...mixed emotions.

:sad1: It is over.
 That this was the best they could do...I mean they are all dead...I watch for 7 seasons and this is the thanks I get.

:) That I have one less show I'm interested in.

:thumbsup2 Totally guessed that Hurley would be the THE "Candidate" in the end...Wonder how long he and Ben "ran" the Island?

Yes I am....and it's HOT!!!!!!

Sitting around until Friday, then jumping my convoy into Iraq....:headache:

Oh well, I guess I'll sleep until then...:confused3

Enjoy the rest now while you can...

Cool! We don't get out much either, but this looked like it was worth finding a babysitter for.

I hear ya. They blocked FB here too. Now I have to waste my time on the DIS instead. Sheesh.

I liked the ending, actually. Sure, there are still some plot holes/unresolved mysteries, and coming from a Christian world-view I have issues with their theology (but I have no intention of starting religious arguments here! :hippie:). I thought they did a nice job giving each character a fitting storyline and ending, though. I didn't feel like I was cheated.

Hey Fellas,

Just thought I would jump in here and say hi. things have been crazy, funny how even on my day off I still have restaurant things to do.:headache:

Honestly, I would not trade it for the world. No regrets at all.

Welcome to all the new dads, glad to see everyone is keeping this place going.

Fed good luck with everything, I hope all goes well. To all those traveling soon or are in the world right now, I hope you have or are having a great time.

To all those TR pirates out there, I am hoping to have an update this weekend. :hippie::hippie:

Talk to you all soon.:thumbsup2

Daddy-O! Good to hear from you, and I'm glad you've been busy! Time to go hijack a certain trip report. pirate:

I wasn't totally bummed by the ending...just wasn't what I expected...because it was similar too what I was expecting...with Lost I expect them to do something totally different than what I was expecting...

I think that makes sense. :confused3

Speaking of Religion(s) did you notice the Stained Glass window in the "Church." Not to spur a religious debate mind you.

Maybe I should have remained up to watch Kimmel too see the alternate endings.
:confused3

Just a few thoughts to share.
1st, Nate, your caption is pretty cool.
2nd, the Dis is loading very slow lately.
Last, how many of you Dads are taking the family to see Toy Story 3?

So who's on first? :lmao:

I did notice the window. I think there was a New York Yankees logo in there among everything else.

Which is great, until your boss gets directions from the higher-ups to promote someone. "We don't care who it is - we trust your judgment. Just make sure you don't blow it and promote Dawong Fook-Hing Gui!"

Maybe I should have remained up to watch Kimmel too see the alternate endings.
:confused3
You didn't miss anything not watching Kimmel. The "alternate endings" weren't real alternates. Just silly Lost-takes on other series' ending episodes - The Sopranos, Bob Newhart, and one other that was so utterly forgettable that I can't remember what it was. That was an hour plus of sleep I'll never get back.

1. I have to find that caption contest thing. I never know where to look.
2. DIS has been painfully slow lately
3. I think we'll ALL be going to TS3, even Squeaker. Mrs. AJRitz and the Bug went to see Shrek Forever After this past weekend, and Mrs. AJRitz and I saw Iron Man 2 (I liked it a lot, but I don't know that I'd call it better than Iron Man).

That's OK...promotions only bring on more responsibility...I'm good. :thumbsup2

Glad I didn't stay up for Kimmel then.

Caption Contest

Need to see as we say in TN "Arn Man" 2.

We will be going to see Toy Story 3. I (I mean my son) can't wait for it to come out:woohoo:

I am glad that I am not the only one that is having trouble with the Dis loading slowly!!!

As far as Toy Story 3...I think Shari and I are more excited about it than the kids!!

Two dd's (8,5) here, so princesses are on the list everyday. The best two places are the Akershus breakfast at Epcot and CRT. We like the Akershus breakfast better than the others. CRT has a new dinner menu, and we are going to try it this year. Both have the picture at the beginning (Belle at Akershus and Cinderella at CRT) and the breakfast is great at both. Eating at a castle does add something special, but they try to turn tables a lot faster.

America - achieving global domination one fat, lazy country at a time!

Mine was a far more positive interpretation than yours.

Yeah... I am sooo mad I stayed up past my bedtime to that THAT finale. :headache: Biggest waste of my time yet this year. :badpc:

Little on TV is worth watching - except for sports - except the Celtics v Magic series would not be considered worth watching.

Great to hear from you Fed. Stay safe. I'm not gonna say stay cool, because that's pretty near impossible in that part of the world.

Sink report; unclogged after 4 hours with the plumber over 2 days (Saturday and Sunday). No dynamite had to be used, but it was close. Luckily for our pocketbook, the plumber was a friend that I had played ball with years ago, so everything wasn't too expensive. To get a visual of what our kitchen drain looked like in the pipe, imagine cutting open a plastic container of Play-Dough from side to side with a bunch of Play-Dough already stuffed into the container. Except that the stuff that came out of the drain would make you puke.........

State testing starts tomorrow in school. Great time of the year. Gotta love it.
