Hey Fellas,

Just thought I would jump in here and say hi. things have been crazy, funny how even on my day off I still have restaurant things to do.:headache:

Honestly, I would not trade it for the world. No regrets at all.

Welcome to all the new dads, glad to see everyone is keeping this place going.

Fed good luck with everything, I hope all goes well. To all those traveling soon or are in the world right now, I hope you have or are having a great time.

To all those TR pirates out there, I am hoping to have an update this weekend. :hippie::hippie:

Talk to you all soon.:thumbsup2

Glad to hear everything is going well. Better to be busy than sitting around in the kitchen on the DIS all day!

Our son arrived home for a few days and brought us some memorabilia from the Air Show last weekend. Here we are with the Blue Angels pilots. Our son is in his regular Navy fatigues.

Great picture!

When I got mine I had to cash in 100 points worth of bazooka comics:lmao:, now you can get them at the local Walmart:lmao:

For all those who make the u turns, didn't you know they are the only one's on the road.

The guy in the am on one of the radio sations 101.5 call the people who ride the left lanes, left hand (sounds like stick and is a sporting good store):lmao:

i know why people from nj make u turns, here in pa you miss your turn and you go to the next block, make two turns and your back on track. in nj , you have to go 3 miles, turn, get on an interstate and before you know it, your in ny.:lmao:

Great Pic Mike:thumbsup2, that is a definite framed hit you as soon as you walk in the door pic:goodvibes

Been a great day here.
Had a "Boys Day" with Squeaker while Mrs. AJRitz and the Bug caught the new Shrek movie (watched some Sid the Science Kid, played dinosaurs, and spent an hour or so at the playground).

Then Mrs. AJRitz and I had an early anniversary celebration - finally saw Iron Man 2, and went out for a nice dinner.

Now everyone else has gone to bed, and I just finished a brain transplant on my MacBook, doubling the size of the hard drive.

Looks like the stopped up kitchen drain, that I spent 5 hours working on yesterday, is still stopped up. Can you say plumbing expense today??

Roto-Rooter! Good luck with that; I hate plumbing problems and we've had our share.

:thumbsup2 nice pic mike!!

So where were you 2 years ago today???

Two years ago today (not your post date), we were at SSR at the Paddock. Never been on a Disney cruise, and that looks really fun.

There's a Cheesecake Factory ...

Speaking of the cheesecake factory, when we were in Gatlinburg, TN on Spring Break vacation, our waitress was from Russia on sometype of exchange program, and it turned out that many of the other employees there were on a similar program. We talked to her about things she liked in America and she said she loved desserts, especially the Cheesecake Factory. We told her they will ship the cheesecakes, and she was really excited (don't think it was an act for a tip). USA - uniting the world in its love for desserts.

Awesome photo. Hope you are able to post one soon where ALL of the uniforms match! Good Luck to your DS!

ok Dads...give me your input here...

We arrive at WDW on nov 28 until Dec 5....so our park days will be m/w/f...got to give the kids a day in between to rest up between days or they will never make it and then no one has fun :rotfl2:

Ethan, Lauren, and myself will all be celebrating our birthdays while we are there. Shari said she enjoyed Crystal Palace last year so I am sure that will be one of our meals...I think we want to not do Whispering Canyon this year and do something else instead to mix it up a bit...I was thinking Ohana...What other dinners should I make reservations for??? I know nothing about the princess one, but I dont want to shaft Lauren. I want her to get to do something she will enjoy too... Ideas and suggestions are welcome...One park days we will more than likely (except for Crystal Palace) just eat counter service quick on the run so I need ideas for non park days....Help!!

Also when can I make reservations???

You can make reservations 180 days from the first day of your reservation, and on that day you can make reservations for up to 10 days going forward (so you should be able to make ADRs for your entire trip on that first day.

As for suggestions for places - Ohana for Ethan sounds like a great choice. We're doing Ohana for our first night at Disney. Sounds like they get the kids involved and entertained, sort of like WCC, only without quite the level of zaniness. For a princess dinner for Lauren, I hear great things about 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian, which features Cinderella and the Wicked Stepsisters. That was originally part of our plan, but I couldn't resist a CRT breakfast, and we were already set to be in Epcot on The Bug's birthday, so we did an ADR for Akershaus, and I decided that two princess meals was about enough. pirate:

Have you tried dynamite? Not a lot, mind you. You don't want to destroy too much stuff, just enough to let it know you mean business.

I've go to correct AJ.
Steve - since you'll be staying off-site, you'll have to call 180 days out from each reservation day. The 180+10 is only for those staying at a Disney Resort.
I'll chime in with some recommendations tomorrow. I've had a big weekend and I'm dozing off at the keyboard!

Oops. I missed the off-site part. I bow to the superior knowledge (and powers of observation) of the chilly monkey. :worship:

I agree with AJ here, that Ohana and 1900 Park Faire are both great non-park restaurants. We have decided that after this past trip that we will always select Ohana's as our first meal because of our great experience there. (Check out the TR link to see what they did for our youngest alergenista).

:thumbsup2

We hope so, too. It looks pretty good for him but he probably won't hear anything official for another few weeks or so.

So how was Iron Man 2? I'd like to see that one.

Or... if our country's gonna go down, we're gonna take someone with us!
