Yeesh this is turning into a crazy week.

Two new fatality cases fell from the sky (a/k/a my supervisor's office) onto my desk, one involving a national company with an outside counsel who appearst to think quite highly of herself (for no discernable reason). And now, a week that was supposed to be about putting the finishing touches on some settlement agreements and digging out my desk is turning into -- something completely different.

Uh Oh...I think I may have danced to this tune a time or two:headache::headache::headache:

Is the "national company" you mention Delta or United? Because if it is, the "fatality cases" that "fell from the sky" just took on a whole new meaning.

Whew.
All caught up with disdads.com Email address creation.

We're up to 16. 34 addresses still available - step right up, come one come all.

Not an airline company. It's a major conglomerate. They do LOTS of different things. The site where the employee died was a railroad car maintenance site.

The two fatalities are from two different companies:
Fatality 1 involves a guy "falling from the sky" - he fell through a roof and died.

Fatality 2 involves heavy material "falling from the sky" - the employee was struck by an out-of-control load on a hoist and died.

See the signatures for MiJo or chillcoupons above for the link to the GKTW site.

Addresses are still available - I get one set up for you this evening.

So here I am trying to pack my office up for my replacement who'll arrive two weeks after I deploy, leaving me "in transition" because I won't get to my new office until October....of course, I'm in the desert until then, but you really need a "home base", which I won't have....what a pain.

Gotta' love how the Government schedules things:headache:

So while you're gone does all your stuff get stored in one of those big government warehouses like at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Hey is Hungry getting deployed again as well? We let it slip last time but he definitely needs to do a trip report for this one.popcorn::

Refresher lesson that I didn't think could possibly still be necessary, but based on my day at work today clearly must be:
1) Telling employees to "be careful up there" is NOT safety training.
2) Telling employees, "don't fall!" is NOT a fall protection system

I think I'm all caught up assigning Email addresses now. If you want one and haven't gotten one yet, please send a PM - it's easier for me to track that way. Twenty addresses have been assigned, and there are 30 left for the asking.

I'd like one...BTW just made my GKTW Donation. :thumbsup2

We made $1000!!! Not bad for a month! :cool1::woohoo::cool1:

Ha....I wish, I get to pack it all up and put it in my office at home (When Translated "My Office at Home" actually means.....place where my two year old can play and break MY stuff that DW doesn't care about:sad2::lmao::lmao:) or in my attic...

And yes, Hungry is being deployed again too......He's a good luck charm now, no way he doesn't make the trip...(how the heck did you remember that?)

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: I see you're reviewing some of our training videos!!!

Does me yelling, "Hey, moron, didn't I tell you to secure your line" count???:lmao::lmao:

---This to one of my Agents as he was about to fast rope down a 30 foot wall without checking his line connection to insure that it was properly secured---it wasn't......Would've meant a mountain of paperwork for me:scared:

dis dad #99 checking in.:thumbsup2 its been a while.:rolleyes1
recently retired so i'll have more time to pop in here.:cool2:

OK Dad's need some prayers for a little girl...

She is the Grand-daughter of Mr. Fender...aka the owner of the Corn Maze I work at in the fall.

Her name is Sadie...she's 2½ and had to have emergency surgery...because her appendix ruptured.

She's stable but still a very sick little girl and has a long road before she's out of the woods.
