Home from work and now officially on VACATION!!! You were right Carl ..we are flying down. The flight leaves Cincy tomorrow afternoon so I decided to leave here around 8am and save money on the hotel room tonight. tightwad I know...but I wanted more to spend on the ship!

We are staying at All Star Sports tomorrow night. WhenI leave tomorrow I wont have my laptop with me so I dont know that I will be able to check in while I am gone. I am sure that I will die not knowing what you guys are talking about for a week!

Oh yeah....Mark...Land's End made it today so all is well in the world ha ha

What! The only thing you should be thinkin about is when's my next beer and did I wake up in the right cabin. Have a great trip

were you ever there the last week of december? in 2007 we stayed at okw, arrived dec 16 and departed dec 28. it wasnt to bad. we went to the candle light pross. over at epcot christmas eve, had a late dinner at le cellar and went back to the 2 bedroom. i had taken down with us a 7ft christamas tree and we decorated the room. we woke up christmas morning opened some gifts, made breakfast and headed out to the mk.it was packed!!!! the park was full!! there were cars parked outside the main gates that they wouldnt let in because the park was at cap. we did some hotel hoppin and had dinner in germany christmas night. on the way home dw said i loved the 2 weeks, we had fun but that was just to crowded for me. the mk was so full, to exit the park from tomorrow land, they opened up the back, behind main street to exit the park. now, when we want to see wdw at christmas, we go the first two weeks.

We went the week after Christmas in 2008. Arrived around Dec. 30 and stayed through New Years until Jan. 4th. Most of the Christmas crowd was gone, but we still got to enjoy all the decorations and atmosphere of the holidays. We didn't get to do the processional, but we got to see the Osborne lights. I used TGM for touring plans and they were great. We had parks almost to ourselves at times and did pretty much everything we set out to do multiple times. I don't think there is any way I would shoot for the week of Christmas. We have done July 4th, but I can't imagine the Christmas crowds.

Tsunami Warning for eastern US !! Lawson's wave will be riding in on a tsunami.
I have brought it up for all the DDC to try and start working on some dates for a DDC trip in 2011.So far Chris has stated some interest for a fall trip and I think it was Zerfs had said they are going in Oct 2011.So if you are interested in jumping on the planning commission for 2011 trip that would be greatI know I would like to do another DDC trip next year and the sooner we try to plan it the better it can be.

We usually go down in August,We go the last week .Southern kids are back in school ,and its less crowed then reg summer months.Still crowed but less lol.The heat in the summer can be hot .But that doesn't bother us,we just do parks in morning hotel pool middle of day then back to parks at night. Parks are open later.Plus we also like to do a week on Clearwater beach to see my father. So in saying that I could go for a DDC summer trip but I don't think you would sell many others on it maybe I am wrong

Actually, we're onto version 3 - so 140 posts in this thread, plus 280+ in version 2 and another 250+ in version 1. Glad you stopped in... pull up a chair, relax and enjoy.

Christmas time can be a very crazy time of year, yes, indeed. Especially if you are there the week of Christmas through New Year's, which is just crazy crowded.

Port Orleans is a great resort.

On line check in is complete with the airlines...for you guys who are home tomorrow afternoon and looking for something to do we are going to be on Delta Flight 1249 from Cincinnati to Orlando at 2:10pm...put us in one of those flight tracker things and watch us go. I went ahead and sent in my ticket order for Marshall basketball post season tickets just in case we get an invite someplace...the deadline was while we are gone....Go Herd!

When you quote someone, you can put your cursor anywhere you want to inside the quoted text and then either use your backspace or delete key to remove text. You can also put your cursor anywhere you want and hold the left mouse button and drag it over text you want to delet all at once - then hit backspace and voila... it's gone. You'll get it...

Try it with this one, and just pick a sentence, any sentence...
