:lmao: all the blood is gonna rush to his head if you leave him like that.

I need to get over to Daddy-O's tr thread and compliment his photos but did not want to quote the whole post. You guys see his dark pics? the are awesome. I am guessing he was in the car next to the ones he took a pic of with the ghosts:confused3But the pics look as if he got out and took head on photos of them. Pretty good job if I must say!!
I am looking for a new camera before we go in Dec and his took great shots

Thanks for the kind words, I have to admit that all those pics were not taken on one trip through the mansion, this being Jonathans favorite ride I had a few opportunities to shoot in there. Yes, I was in the middle of both of those other pics, the empty car and the one of Carrie and Matthew. I was trying to get a shot of the dancing ghosts in the dining room, I think I have about 60 pictures of that but none really that I was very happy with. The trick in the dark rides is to hold steady and take a ton of shots and hope for the best. I shoot on full manual in the dark rides, because the camera would not be able to focus. I try different settings and basically try and trick the camera into doing what I want it to do. Memory is really cheap, I have said it before "thank God for Digital".:thumbsup2

Smooth sailing and fair skies, Steve! :thumbsup2

Hey, I found the Dis Dad's Club group on Facebook and joined in. Probably won't post much there as I don't spend a whole lot of time on Facebook, but I'm sure it will be some interesting reading.:thumbsup2

I just had the best phone call ever. A friend of mine and his family are in EPCOT today and they have reservations at the Cape May Buffet for Dinner. Instead of asking a cast member for directions to the Buffet...he called me! I feel as if I have graduated to a new level of being a Dis Dad!

Way to go Kevin! That's AWESOME!!! :thumbsup2 :woohoo: :yay:

I've got a friend in Washington state who regularly calls me with questions for her friends who are planning their first trip to WDW. It's kind of fun being the go-to guy, isn't it?

Cool, I'll have to look you up. There is definitely fun to be had on Facebook. For example, there's Barry's post from yesterday as he commenced his all-night drive to WDW (for all you non-FB Dads):

"Evan just yakked all over the back seat of the van. Smells like cheese balls."

:scared1:

Can't get this stuff anywhere else. Hope they had better luck on the rest of the trip.

"1200 miles in 21 hours. A new Sommer family record. Now to finish cleaning up that yak..."

They've made it! On to cleaning up the yak! What a great start to vacation for them :lmao:

ok Guys I was just finishing up my reading on some of our Dads TR threads.I saw something over there that made me think. Then I get back here and see something else that made me think even more. OK I will be back later tonight to explain ! I need to go rest all this thinking has worn me out:lmao::lmao:
Ok so I didn't really leave. But here is what I was thinking.Maybe it is time for some of the Dis Dads to hold a position in the DDC.By that I mean.I would like to nominate "Disney Fanatic" as our Pres as he is the founder of the club. Then I would like to nominate Don as our VP as he seems to be our current caretaker.Next on the list would be our trip reporter in which I think Chris ( Stopher1) does such a great job.To support our reporter I think Nick (Daddy-O) would make a great group photographer.Kevin (KTME) could be our information officer.PAUL John (Lawsonsontour) could be our foreign correspondent.I am sure there are many more positions that can be filled ,but off the top of my head theses are what I came up with:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
