That's good we won't have to call in Fed to talk you down:thumbsup2

Our DME tags arrived in the mail Saturday for our planned March visit to the Wilderness Lodge (my DW's new favorite at WDW). We secured the services of my in-laws to come from the west to stay with our kids while we're gone (actually booked their plane tickets too) - I've got the time-off request approved "tentatively" so as long as this pesky little potential hiccup with work doesn't flare up - we'll be at the Lodge in 37 days. And to top it off, my DW came sidling up to me yesterday nudging me with her shoulder asking what we're doing for our anniversary since her dad let it out of the bag that they're coming in March so we can get away. I really hope this works out...
:thumbsup2

Well fellas....I'm back!
Welcome back! I hope you got to see Bob Jackson!

Welcome back Fed and Daddy-O!! Sounds like you guys had some fun! Waiting for the TR's popcorn::

I'm a little bummed out today! I might have to take down my countdown ticker and schedule another date for disney!:sad1:

Oh no! I see the word "might" in there... hope you can work things out OK!

Welcome back Fed!

Hope all you guys from VA to NC are dug out and having fun in the snow.

To the Dis Dads in the Pocono's if you see a lot of ambulances tomorrow running up Rt 33 don't worry, they are going to help me. I am heading to Cammelback for my first sking trip in a few years. I fully expect to have casts on my arms and legs by the end of the day.:lmao:

We still have lot's of snow on the ground. Matter of fact... we made a big snowman AND an igloo yesterday... and still have plenty in the front yard. Funny seeing an igloo in Virginia Beach! :rotfl: I'll post up some pics a little later today.

Here's some pixiedust: to help you! Can't believe her dad let it out of the bag! At least he didn't say where! :lmao:

Ok, who's driving through next?

2 months, 2 weeks till we swing through. Last time we drove we just happened to choose Jacksonville as the place to stop for the night. Worked out really well so that is the plan again this time.

Ok, who's driving through next?

We start the drive in 30 days, but it will be 31 by the time we get to southern Georgia. Of course we'll be coming down 75, so when I get almost to the FL state line, I'll stick my arm out the window and give you wave as I'm duckin' the Georgia State Patrol! :drive::car:

OK...Alice in Wonderland...the original Disney Cartoon version. :ccat:

Watched that last night with DS10...in preparation for the new Movie...cause I couldn't remember but bits and pieces of it.

Now I remember why I don't remember but bits and pieces. Protective Mental Blocks... :thumbsup2

OR...I must have inhaled too much of that Blue Caterpillars smoke. :hippie:

When it was over...I was like...well now...that was...was...umm...interesting?

I was skeptical about the new Movie...now I'm even more unsure.

I know what you mean... I'm not sure I could revisit that movie. I think I have PMB, too! :lmao:

OK... so I'm from Ohio originally... I know snow... grew up with it. But my daughter has never had the chance to REALLY play in it... until this week. So, for you guys who are very much tired of seeing snow, please disregard this post! :lmao: Our area hasn't seen this kind of snow since like 1986... so it's fun to get to pass on some snow-playing fun.

Went outside with DD yesterday afternoon and I checked how the snow was doing. Turned out it was that PERFECT snow-packing consistency... just grab a hand full, pack, and throw. So then I started making a bigger snow ball... as I rolled it on the ground it was picking up all the snow down to the grass. It got big, fast. In case you're wondering... here's yours truly... picking up the middle ball... in a t shirt (you can see the path the first ball made):

Here he is... finished product:

Since the snow was so perfectly ready for packing, I turn to DD and ask her if she would like to make an igloo... of course she did... she's 7! HAHA! So her friend helped us start the igloo. I really should not have made this so big... this was a LOT of work.

This smile did not last long...

I put one more row of "bricks" after this picture, then had to finish it with a plywood roof. The snow had frozen back up and I had no more "good" snow to work with. So here's a few of the final product... DD loves it!:

So much FUN!!! The girls had to make it their own... love the purple scarf!

Wow, Don, looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Great snowman! I'm jealous. Living in South Florida, my DD4 doesn't truly understand what snow is...I have got to get her up north some time so she can experience it!

Yep.. it was lot's of fun... til I sat down that night. I used muscles I didn't know existed! :lmao::lmao: The best kind of snow is the kind you can visit... and leave it! :thumbsup2
