ha mike, the tour was great!!! dw wants to do the tour next year!! dd and i are going to do the segway tour next year. shw saw the segways and said that was cool,she would do it!!!we are eating in japan tonight. mk closes early for a hallow. party. we ate at whispering canyon last night(again)the pulled pork is great. its still 90 and sunny, i love this weather!!!!!

ha fedfuz, i have seen an orange cty police car with radar on disney property pulling people over!!! he was on the road to the contemp. standing outsde his car w/ the radar gun and motioning cars over!! ha, i was on the bus!!!! we even saw a disney security car pulling someone over.

I have a buddy/lodge brother that is a deputy with the Orange County department and his beat is Disney Prpperty. Some of the stories he tells are funny. He was the first responder the night the monorails crashed. He himself was out of town while we were there but he was wanting to bring the squad car so Ethan could see it and take his picture in it. Oh well, maybe next year

the weather looks like its going to hold off while we are here.(im watching the weather) for some reason it looks like there are more oc police around than before. its about time they did something about the traffic on property, some people get out of hand. ha, reason 2 to come back dear! need the pic in police car!

I love the Whispering Canyon. We saved that for the last night so we could get one last dose of Disney Fun before the flight home. I love the corn bread there Mmmmm. Shari asked me how i liked the pulled pork and I said..."What pulled pork?" She, Ethan, and Lauren had gotten to it before me. So we had to get more of course ha ha. The kids loved the stick horse races and seems like someone was always needing ketsup someplace that night. It is jsut a lot of fun. The only thing I regret is that I did not do it later in the week so we could have taken home leftovers to had for lunch by the pool the next day!

Dave: I can't even tell you which tour we enjoyed more because they were both great! You get a neater pin with the Segway Tour but no lunch! Glad to hear you had a good time!

BTW are those LL Bean Summer Sneakers you are wearing?

I guess that's what they're called.......or were called. I came home and tossed them into the trash! To save some money this trip, I didn't get new walking shoes; my DW just got me gel inserts for those Beans. After 1 day, I was walking around with a nice sized blister on my right foot (you can't see it in the photo ). That blister lasted a lot longer than my Dole Whip, that's for sure, and it sure wasn't as much fun. They were fine while they lasted but they weren't made for hiking around the World!

Lastly can anyone imagine how my week is going, I have told you before that I am a (long suffering) Raiders fan, My wife on the other hand is a Giants fan.
the bet was if they lost by more than 21 points I have to ware the Giants jersey every night at dinner and let her put the bumper sticker on my truck

As a Giants fan for the past 50 years or so, I can really see the humor in this!

Told ya...they've been crawling all over that place. I used to hear the stories when I was assigned to the JTTF down there....

Oh, and for whoever is going to Whispering Canyon---be sure to ask for Ketchup, and the LARGEST drink they have----they'll take care of you

last year when we ate at wc i sent the waiter back 3 times for a coke. next thing you know, "may i have your attention, it is my duty to inform you, this man is going to drink this soda and do not get into the same pool with him!) i didnt drink as fast this year!

ha don, just an update on club cool, its still the same and you still stick to the floor when your in there!!! we will be going back thursday!!

nate, the pineapple bars are good!! i had one at epcot by the electric umbrella on tuesday, very good. im still a mm ice cream sand. man myself. i have to get all the ice cream i can get on vacation,dw dont allow that at home. the old coles. was 275 last check but we all know fat,grease,coles and callor. dont dont here!

I actually thought mine were the best shoes ever for hiking the World? Feet rarely felt tired...even on the 16 hour days in the MK.


Wore a pair for my last 3 trips...allot better than any walking shoe I've ever tried...I prefer the ones that don't have the bungee laces...but they dont make them anymore.

As long as LL Bean makes these...this will be my summer/Disney shoe.

I don't know why...I'm a choco-holic myself...but when I'm at WDW...Pineapple is my thing. The Chocolate/Ice Cream deserts just make me thirsty.
