Hey, I resemble that remark! :lmao: Actually, I am on Facebook although I don't tell many people. I'll join the group as soon as I finish reading up on the posts here! I didn't know about it. PS: My first Facebook "friend" was Bob "The Piano Man" Jackson!:thumbsup2

Fed: The last 11 days will fly by and then, before you know it, you'll be home! Thanks, Buddy! :thumbsup2

Dave: Craig was in at work beginning Wednesday although he was out sick Monday and Tuesday. I IM'd with him briefly Friday and he didn't mention an upcoming trip. I guess it is a surprise or he would have told me.

Yesterday, the DW and I were babysitting for our DGS (5 1/2 months) and I mentioned to our DD and DSIL that the perfect time to take him to the Mouse House would be the Fall of 2012, since he will be 3 1/2 yo then. We got a coupla smiles so maybe it will work out! :cool1:
When can I start the trip counter? :rotfl2:

our kids have been going since they were just a few months old each... i bet you could swing an earlier trip there if you were wanting to say it was for your grandson LOL:cool1:

I thought so also, DW digs it, a little extra cool since we live in So.Fl. and aren't exposed to ice or snow.

We have an Oldsmobile Bravada, with car top carrier(loaded to the max) :lmao:and me,DW,3 DD'S and Dnephew, that is why we bought the dual screen portable DVD player:happytv:

thats close to a minivan!!:lmao: welcome to the club!!! first time driving?

Dave, I agree totally.....as much work (and expense) as you have invested in the decorations they need to be enjoyed as much as possible...i have been accused of being Clark Griswald :rotfl2:

:lmao: we just put lights on the shrubs, the disney stuff and of course more disney stuff.:lmao: im going to do that monday afternoon, its going to be 70 degrees!!!

We just got back a few weeks ago (you can read more about the drive in my TR - link in my siggy) We made it from Racine in 22 hours. You should be able to make it from Green Bay in 26, tops. :thumbsup2
Are you planning a stop?
Wow, 6 people in a Bravada? Bring lots of deodorant!:crowded:

:lmao: so we are not the only people who have the tree up for thanksgiving!!:lmao: its just to much work just to look at it for two weeks and have to put it all back.

I decided the other night it was time to start decorating, or at least get the stuff out of the attic in preparation for decorating. Luckily since they seem to be moving the Christmas Parade a week earlier each year it will be a bit easier to justify.

Yes, I will be in contact during my "cool off" period:lmao:

You might not want to mention us if there is an interview process, outsiders might question your readiness to rejoin "normal society". Of course this might be the perfect moment, if your asked what you plans are when you get back, to scream "I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!". It could be your very own Superbowl moment.

How would you comapre this movie to other versions. The trailer looks very good and I do enjoy watching Jim Carey.

Some might consider it a bit "Dark" for a Disney Movie...as my wife did...but I thought it was one of the best versions I had ever seen...I think the "darkness" adds to a one nights change in a mans heart.

Both my boys loved it.

We saw the 3D version and it was really good 3D too...even though the screen I saw it on was somewhat small...I thought the 3D really popped...would love to see it on a bigger screen...though the best screens available to me are some 40 miles away.

Back in 1998 we had just moved into a new house in late September. We put the Decorations up then.:banana::banana:

DW usually likes to start in October...but since we started the Corn Maze thing...we usually don't get around to it until the week of Thanksgiving.

october!! wow! when do you take them down? we are new years eve people. i take it all down new years eve day.

Saw "Disney's A Christmas Carol" tonight. :thumbsup2

We are planning to see this very soon. I remember seeing the preview for it at TS1&2 3D double feature. It was soooo cool. Reminds me of how I felt when The Matrix first came... new technology always adds a new level to the movies.
Thanks for your review :thumbsup2
