The Dis board is taking over my life!!

Okay, So me and my husband just decided about 5 minutes ago that we are going to take a vacation to DL October 20-26th. but see the problem is, that I should be writing a paper for my psych class and doing other homework for my night classes. I made a commitment to myself that I would not get behind and look what I'm doing now.... on the flippin dis boards, feeling like a little kid planning for a trip that is 6 months away. I'm out of control I graduate at the end of Fall quarter 2008. So in reality.... I should be doing homework and not on the Dis. Okay I'm leaving I just wanted to share my excitement!!

Wow!! Now that's impressive! I will complete my BA in Early Education at the end of Fall. Maybe start on my Masters but, I'm not sure yet if I want to do that. LOTS OF WORK! It's tough to go to school, take 16 credits and work full time. It just about killed me last quarter

It was a lot of work but SO worth it. I was a SAHM when I started but had to start working to get internship hours. Tending 3 kids, a home, and hubby, while going to school and working= insanity.

:::::sigh::::: This is the story of my life right now. Almost verbatim - except that I don't work. I do however have 3 kids so that's like a full time job in itself. I don't know if I could do it if I worked, too. YIKES!!!!

Just last night when I read your message I couldn't help but laugh out loud because I was supposed to be writing a children's book that is due today. Yup, had to write and illustrate a children's book. WOW! Needless to say, I was up until 2 a.m. finishing it.

I'm also getting my bachelor's in Elementary Education. I, like you, will graduate next December after Fall semester. I can't wait but I have decided to go on for my Master's so I'm hoping to start that right away after I graduate, then I'll be further ahead of the game.

Anyway - it's fun to see that others are experiencing the same things I am. The only difference is that we go to Disney in 13 DAYS!!!!! WAHOO!!!! 2 weeks from right now I'll be experiencing the magic....right after my semester ends, of course.

NICE to know I am not the only one!!!!!! I am a SAHM, with 4 kids and going to college P/T to become a Paramedic! I CANNOT imagine working or taking more than 6-9 credits....I have spent more than once on DIS when I should have been studying....WHICH I plan on doing today...studying that is....hopefully!

I have a question??? We have decided to fly into Long Beach airport and I was wondering if anyone knows if they have a car rental place at the airport? We have decided to fly into this airport because Thanks to all of the helpful suggestions I have recieved on the Dis, it will be WAY CHEAPER almost by $150. Thanks guys!

Yep! I believe they have all the big national car rental companies - Enterprise, Budget, Hertz, etc. I LOVE the Long Beach airport and it is SO EASY to get through. The car rental area is just a two minute walk from the luggage claim, which is a two minute walk from the gate.

I have the hotel line, the AP line and the Disney Dining lines programmed into my phone. LOL I don't even have the pizza guy programmed but Disney is there!
