Has anyone taken children here? I have 2 very well behaved DDs who have been to every Disney owned signature and they are 11 and 8. They are quiet and in fact-- they usually take books to read while we are at dinner. lol but i'm still intimidated taking them here. I don't know why. Can any one ease my fears? I know they have a kids menu and it seems like they are welcome- but I would love to hear from someone who's 'done it.' my worst nightmare is to take children somewhere and be treated badly because of it- it would ruin my meal!! lol!!!

At 8 and 11 they are not really little kids. If they are well-behaved there should be no problem. (Sorry - but no, I haven't done it, I don't have children. But I can attest that the problem is usually not children - but ill-behaved children whose parents ignore the ill behavior. I am not sure what kind of bad treatment you are afraid of getting.)

The one time we dined here, there were no children in the restaurant (it's a small place). However, your children are almost old enough to go to Victoria & Alberts. If they are used to sitting quietly and you are wanting to dine here, I don't see why you should feel worry about it.

We are an adult only group and for us, anyway, we are not bothered by well behaved children in restaurants, even those that are considered more adult.

As TDC Nala stated, your kids are old enough to eat just about anywhere, and you needn't worry. Especially at Wolfie's. His motto is Live, Love, Eat! He is an incredibly engaging person who embraces life, and though he will not be there, his restaurants reflect a "California Casual" flair that is far more welcoming than the prices on the menu might suggest. We took our daughter there when she was 4. She loved it, and it was her first go-'round with Weinerschniztle. When she had the opportunity to meet Wolfgang in person a couple years later, she lit up, and so did he. I'm still not allowed to use the autographed cookbook she has for fear that I might dirty it. Take your kids and don't worry. Your children will be welcomed. And if you have any hesitation at all, just dine on the early side. Families are more likely to abound before 7:30.
