Well, I have decide to start a journal. I am 24 years old. I have a almost 7 dd and a dd 3 who will be 4 in June. I work full time as a mortgage processor and part time at target. I have always been able to eat whatever I wanted. After I had my first daughter I was able to put on my regular pants when I came home from the hospital. Then I got pregnant with dd #2 and she just love MickyD chicken nugguts. :rotfl: After I had her I only lost 3 pounds. I have manage to stay at 175 for the past three almost four years. I never actually tried to diet or lose weight. I always though evenutally it will come off. Not the case.

I have bad eating habits. Really bad. Take out is the biggest. Also I do not like alot of foods. I love my junk food, candy, anything prepackaged, and beloved taco bell:cloud9:

I signed up for the gym at the end of March. So far this week I have went mon., tues. and thurs. I plan on going Friday and Saturday. On Monday I did the elipitcal (sp) for 30 mins and tues treadmil walking for 25 jogged for 5 and weight train. and Thurs, Treadmil walking for 20 Jogging 10. I have found that the treadmill is my machine. The 30 mintues goes by so fast. Were as the elipitcal (not sure if this how to spell it but this is how it is going to spell for my journal) I am dying after 5 mins. Maybe I start off to fast. I would like to try the bicycles and this other machine, but for now I like the treadmill.

I am trying to cut out eating out. I have brought my lunch with my everyday this week. It was salad, which my salads consist of lettuce, cubes, cheese, and chicken. and a varied of snacks, 100 calorie packs of fishes, triscuit and cheese packages, south beach diet snack bar -chocolate delight, mini fig newtons, yogurt, bananas, plums. Today I have a turkey and cheese wrap, 6 triscuits, SBD bar, banana, plum, and fig newtons. Sounds good. For breakfast I did not do good. Med. Coffee from dunkin donuts. (that is good ususally I get a large) and a bacon,egg, and cheese sandwhich on a wheat bagel. I took the bottom of the bagel off so I only had half of the enormous bagel.

I have not set up weight-in yet as I do not have a scale. I did weigh myself at my moms house on either monday or tuesday after the gym and it said I went lost three pounds. I am not going to go by that. I think I am going to buy a scale tonight when I am working at target. Then I can have an offical weight-in. :scared1: then :banana: when the scale goes down.

Well since I am at work I think I should do some work. :surfweb: Thanks for reading this long post. Well be back later :hippie:
 
Welcome! It sounds like you have a pretty good start! Keep up the good work.
 
:headache: :sad2: Good Morning all who reads this. The two smiles that I posted is how I feel this morning. I did not get up to go to the gym morning. I wanted to go at 5:30 so I can get in weight train and cardio. I got up at 6:30 and it was to late to go even just to do one.

My eating today so far is not the best. I had a bagel (blueberry) with butter and jelly from dunkin donuts the hole thing not half. For lunch it is already decided on Quizznos (sp). They just open a new one down the street from my job. I am not sure what kinda of food is there but I will pick something good for me.

I am going to the gym tomorrow. They open at 7 am. I am either going at that time or after my girls dance class around 12 pm. I promise my self that I will do both weight train and cardio. They are open on sunday from 8-12. Maybe i will go maybe I wont. I leaning more I will go for a quick workout.

Again have to get back to work.

:cloud9: My dream today will be to get out early around 2pm (instead of 5) go to the gym then to my part time job at 6. :cloud9:

Congrats on your healiheir life style choice. I too agree that the weight from the second child clings longer! My dd is 10 and I am finally at the weight I was when I became pregnant. :rotfl: Most of the changes have been in the last year when I really commited to a healthier lifesyle. I work in fast food as a manager, and agree, the dinning out was the worse for me, even if I ate on the healthier side of the menu.

Since the last time I posted it was a up and down days for me. I did not ended up going to the gym of Friday. We did not get out of work until 4. So I went home and slept. This getting up early for the gym is not easy. On saturday I did go to the gym for 1.5 hours:cool1: That was good. I think I ate good on saturday. Oh wait I remember now I had a chicken quesada (sp) from taco bell after work which was around 10 P.m. not so good but not that bad. Right?

Sunday was Easter. I had a chance to go to the gym while my mom to the girls to church. as I am not a big church person. but instead I went home and got ready. I had a salad for lunch while everyone else was eating Ham, meatballs, baked zitti, and some pollish foods that I can not spell. I did have a very small piece of boston creme cake. It was so good. Had some jell-o probably not sugar fee but better than chips. I notice I was feeling like crap that day. no energy nothing.

On Monday wanted to get to the gyn in the morning for some weight training. Now I have not done weight training yet except for when I had a trainer show me how to work the machines and what will be good for me. I was neverous that I would make a fool out of my self with adjusting the seat and stuff since the trainer did that for me. So I wanted to go when there was not alot of people there. I did wake up before my alarm on monday morning but did not want to get out of bed. So I did not.

I had a bowl of cereal specal K with yogurt and berries for breakfast. redbull sometime between breakfast and lunch. For lunch I had a cooked chicken sandwich from subway. Triscuts and cheese, and a yogurt for snack. For supper I had two cheese burgers minus the bun and a little bit of mac and cheese that I made for the kids.

After supper I went to the gym for an hour. I did the treadmill, but I just could not run this time, I think I ran for about 3 mintues and then I was dying, mouth as dry as can be. I had to waters with me. I think it was because I usually drink about 4 bottles during the day and I had about two cups all day. I could not even walk for 30 mins. I stop at 25mins.

Then I went on the bike for the first time. One of my goals is to take a spinning class. Well on the bike I did not do so good. It has a program that is five mins test. Not sure what it is testing you for but I got 28 both times which accordly to la bikeo it below average. And here I though I was doing a good job even a great job. Not.

After the gym I felt great like I let all my fustrations out. Again was not have a good day felt like crap. Then I realize that if i dont go to the gym I feel like crap.

On to today 4/10.

I did make it to the gym this morning and I did the weight train. :yay: :dance3: I did have a hard time with some of the seats but it all worked out. Now I am suppose to do 3 set of 15 on every machine and switch between 2 machines. Like do one set of 15 on A machine then one set of 15 on B machine then go back to A and then back to B until all three sets are done. The problem with that is sometime there arepeople on one machine that I need. So I started off on one machine. Was getting ready to move to the next one and someone got on it. So I just did my three set all at once for that machine. Then looked around to see which ones were open.

I have to say that my upper body is not as strong as my lower body. I can do leg things all day long but any arms pulling time machine I can not. I did only two sets on the arms machine 1 set of 15 and 1 set of 13. Oh well I will work up to it.

Well time for lunch which will be the not so good for you Unos buffalo chicken quesada.:eek: But I am only eating half for lunch and half for supper. Also for breakfast I had a SBD Meal bar which is only 219 in calories.

Yesterday (Wednesday) I did not go to the gym but did not feel like crap. I actually felt I was getting skinning. The first time in a long time.:dance3: I have been eating good. except for the pizza and half of a chocolate bar when I was working last night.:sad2:

Today went to the gym in the morning after I scream at myself to get out of bed. I always have a hard time getting up in the morning after I work the night before. I did the bike for 15 minutes. I did not like it at all. I want to take a spinning class at some point so I figure I better start working the bike plus my mom kepts harassing me to take the class and I tell her I am not ready. Well I am not sure if the seat was to high or if it was my pants (nylon with the little holes) but I kept slidding off the seat. I would get going then have to stop to adjust myself. If anyone know what the problem is please tell me. I then went on the treadmil for 20 minutes. Not sure how long I walk and run cause I was just switching when I felt like it. I did get my speed up to 5.8 while running.:yay: I have not include and incline yet. maybe next time.

I have to work tonight so maybe this will be the time I will buy a scale. I was thinking instead of weekly weight ins maybe I will do monthly or two weeks.

I plan on going to the gym tomorrow for weight train and hopefully cardio it all depends on what time I get up and get out of bed.

I had my first weight in this morning. It was 169. 6 pounds lost with in 2 weeks. It was very exciting to see the number below 170. That is all I have to post today.
