I wasn't sure whether to post a pre-trip report or not, but have been inspired by the other recent reports!
Me, DH, DD1(age 10) and DD2(age 7) will be going on Sunday for 4 nights, staying at the Cheyenne. We had originally planned to go last Oct half term for DD1's birthday, but found that Feb half term was around £600 cheaper for the same trip.
We're flying from Birmingham and will be taking the dreaded VEA to the hotel!
We last (and first) went to DLP 5 years ago, and both girls were terrified by the characters! We had booked a character breakfast, and while all the other kids were hugging and kissing the characters, mine were under the table crying! They did love the shows, rides and parades though, and were in awe of the princesses. I'm hoping they will be brave and get some autographs this time!
DD1 is hoping to go on some/all the big rides, but as DH is a wuss I'll have to go on with her, while he takes DD2 on some of the tamer rides.
We also want to see all the shows and parades. We have HB vouchers and will probably eat at Annette's, the Chuck Waggon, Agrabah and Rendez-Vous in no particular order. We may end up at Agrabah more than once if the food is as nice as it sounds though.
I'm currently packing enough clothes for a family of 10, so we should be prepared for the weather no matter how cold it is (we went in Feb last time and it was freeezzzing!).
Can't wait to go now
