The Deed Is Done, All-star Music Dec. 21- Jan. 2, What To Know???

Well, I finally made my first move for our WDW trip. I booked the AP rate($49.00) for the All-Star Music resort from Dec. 21 - Jan. 2. I wanted a standard room at the AKL, WL, or a AP rate for Pop Century and got the AS Music, instead.

I am saving a gigantic amount of money now, so that put's a hugh smile on my face because I have some extra spending money. I've never been to a AS resort. What should I know? What building should I request? High floor, low floor, ground floor?

I can imagine that the buses will be loaded, but that's ok becuase we are driving down from Buffalo and will have our car. Very excited, any help, ideas, or tips about the AS Music are welcomed. Thanks

As you can see by my sig, I've stayed there the most. I like it best out of the three because of theming.

The two areas I've stayed in are great. Jazz is good if you want to be closer to Melody Hall, but don't want to pay for preferred. But I like Broadway the best!!! It's also a good choice if you use your car as it's close to the parking lot . It's the next set of buildings down from Melody Hall and closer to the quiet pool (Piano pool). I always request the 3rd floor so no one is above me.

I think the food court is great - big selection and the food is good!!!

Just like Travlin Tigger said, Jazz and Broadway are the best and I agree. The food court is closer. Upper floors are better. Second or third would be best with court yard view. The opposite side of Jazz faces a playground and is also great. The busses are not too bad depending on time of day and year. I have never been at the time of year you will be going so I can't say what type of crowd you face.
