So, I decided that I had posted pictures of the boys, but not of myself or DH, D. That might make it hard to recognize me if I actually run into someone there at the same time!

So, here is DH. Isn't he handsome? And, check out the Mickey hat!

And, here's me - not at all dressed up, no makeup, and hair in the ponytail. Normally I wouldn't post a picture like this, but this is really how I will likely look at WDW! Yikes. Notice the laptop!

I very rarely have any good pictures of myself. I am usually the one with the camera in the "special occasion" photo op's, and I just looked around and couldn't find any decent pictures of me, even at Christmas. Those were just TOO scary... If I find a "pretty" one, I'll post it too, just so you can see what I'd look like with makeup and dry hair.

That's not exactly an update, but I figured that at least one person reading this report (Hi, Brenda!) both doesn't know what I look like and WILL be there at the same time... The odds are slim, but it would be cool to see a DISer!

Love reading your trip report. You reminded me I need to go shopping, but the closest mall is 100 miles away! Guess I'd better go this weekend. Hope to find something as cute as your shorts! It is still winter here and I have snow in my yard so I'll be the girl with the really white legs! Better stock up on instant tan

Why, thanks! I would have expected it to still be winter here, too - the 90 degrees last week was definitely not our usual May. I have quite a bit of farmer tan going on! (Dad's a farmer, no offense intended!)

We're going to the World just 2 weeks after you and I'm finding myself agreeing with all you're writing....obsessing on the shoes (I have been on a quest it seems for the 'perfect' shoes, is there such a thing?? LOL!), not having enough shorts --- really, I have 3 pairs I like to wear and that's it...guess I need to buckle down and do some serious shopping.

Thanks for stopping by! and thanks for the compliments, too! The Crocs should arrive tomorrow or Saturday, according to FedEx tracking - wish me luck! I think I'm set myself with the Tevas, and no one at the mall today had the Croc Mary Janes for me to try on. Otherwise, I bet I would have brought some home!

Hi, Jo! Thanks for coming by! I think the TR is only so long because I treat it much more as a "this is my daily life" than actual trip planning. The moose sighting, and the high school joiner theories really probably don't belong here, but oh well...

We are at 10 days today, but if I use V's FDM, it's more like a week. Today doesn't count, or the departure day, plus we have two weekends and a "pre-school graduation" in there that surely remove waiting days.

I'm just jealous of your long trip. DH decided that only a deluxe resort would do, which was fine, but budget and vacation day scheduling then put us to a short trip, which now just does not feel like enough!

I did start packing some today, though, since the 91 degree weather of last week turned to a high of 51 for tomorrow. I figured I could pack my vest (or tank ) tops and shorts, as I shouldn't need them until the trip at this rate!

Oh, and I got one more pair of shorts today, and $5 t-shirts at the Disney Store for Woody, Buzz and D.

That's OK - I quote Simpsons nearly daily. We had to stop watching it every night when we realized the 4 year olds were walking around saying "D'oh!" We'd watch the reruns during dinner, but at some point they started actually listening. They particularly like the "hot pepper" episode with Johnny Cash. "Note to self. Stop doing anything."

But, I'm still feeling a little "newbie" and know this only because of reading the TR's, not because I'm any way "in the know!"

So, the Crocs came this morning! Yay, Fed Ex!

They are very cute. The boys have been wearing them in the house all morning, but since it's only 50 degrees, here, Buzz is wearing his with socks. Sigh.

Has anyone ever run into this problem: one of his straps keeps coming "unsnapped" from the side. It clicks back on fairly easily, but pops off again kind of easily... I could glue it, but then he couldn't flip it forward to wear them as clogs... Or, should I send them back? The problem there is that I don't know if we'd get a new pair back in time.
