The "Death March" style vacationing.

I'm the same...My theory is. I can make time to sleep in at home.
But I can't ride Space Mountain at home.
I can't ride ToT, or TSM or Everest..ect.

Hay, as long as you're having fun it's fine to do this! That's how I used to vacation before I lived in Florida and worked at Disney for two eyars. now when i go back to keep up my seasonal duties, I've been more relaxed about stuff, well...ever so slightly lol!

a couple of years ago, we visited with my brother and his family. He has much more of a death march mentality than we do.

One afternoon, as we were trudging through Epcot after a full morning at MK, my nephew complained that he wanted to stop and rest. My brother's response was "you can rest when we get back to the hotel. If you die, I'll apologize."

since then, we use that saying anytime someone complains about doing something- "If you die, I'll apologize!"

we have been guilty of the commando touring. This past trip was very much a death march for us. DH and I were getting less than 4hrs of sleep every night and after 8days in the parks you can imagine how badly we were dragging. I've never been a great sleeper esp away from home but I was laying down in bed and just gone instantly until that horrible stitch wake up call!

our photopass photos reflect the insanity though. My eyes are closed in the majority of the pictures. I guess my body thought stopping or sitting meant time to sleep! The kids are all exhausted too but at least they were getting some decent sleep since they crashed out in the evenings whenever they were tired.

That is so me too! My only problem is I have to do everything in the "right" order... even if it doesn't make sense anyone else. I did Disney about 100 times between 4-18... I am programmed! (We were local)

The term death march is actually a little unnerving.
