The deadline made me do it

Just got off the phone with out guide...gave her all the info including the deposit to join...but not clearly sure what to expect now. She said, I should get some papers in about a week that I need to sign and send back. Is it that easy...no credit check?

This deadine sorta pushed me to take theleap. I know we go (or have been) every year so I wonder why I still have these mixed emotions. Has anyone ever felt this way after signing up?

I am excited....150pts with Mar use year.

Congratulations on the purchase and welcome home (very soon). I'm pretty sure they will do the credit check after they receive your signed papers back. But it still isn't a big deal with Disney. If they determine that you are a risk, they just ask for a larger down payment.

Just get ready to sign your name a lot. You will start seeing palm trees and Mickeys in your sleep. You will see what I mean.

StuDog.... I am always nervous doing a real estate purchase. But I see your excited....which is good because the nervousness soon fades.

You'll enjoy every minute of DVC and will be thinking of adding points once you try it.

By the way, for those doing add-ons the price hike will not be until May 9th. The hike this month is for new members.

I just purchased an add on yesterday and I was also questioning myself, but after sleeping on it I know I did the right thing.
I was also told that I will receive my papers in about a week and once they are signed I plan on calling and booking my first trip for July. I can start using my new points in June even though my use year is August, so SSR here I come! Peggie

I just sent back my paperwork today. You have to have a notary notarize one piece of paper in the pack.

There is also a credit sheet you have to fill out as well.

All in all it was easy. Date the palm trees and sign the mickey ears.
