What are funeral potatoes???
American Ketchup = ????
If you think it was the chicken then maybe you need to stay away from it next time. You might have gotten a bad piece of it. Since your name is Skunka anyway I am assuming it wasn't a very aromatic evening at ya'lls place. Here is some nice smelly flowers that I am sending Marti's way......hope it helps.

As far as aromatic I just had to light three candles due to DS and DH. I think Marti might have to invest in a porta potty for the backyard.
Just keep drinking lots of water so you will not become dehydrated.

Woke up to find the furnace is not working...it's 58 degrees and falling. Plus my laundry tub is clogged. So basically, we're frigid in dirty clothes!

Hi glad you found us.poohangel said:hello all, I just found you! I wont try to catch up from the last 66 pages, I will just start from here.

I have heard this is a good movie, I don't care to much for spiders either
Glynis said:Well, it could have been better. We had planned on going to a theater here that has a restaurant in it so we could eat dinner while watching the movie. Unfortunately the showing was sold out, so we tried to find another theater. We finally found one with a showing that would get us home before midnight, and I thought, "ok, I won't get dinner, but I can at least get a pickle." No such luck! They didn't sell them there. DH got a huge Diet Coke and a large popcorn. Boy was I wanting to cheat, but I didn't!
And the movie! I love the story of King Kong, but they added so many creepy crawly things like 8 foot spiders, 15 foot long centipedes, killer crickets, etc. that I was squirming for at least 1 of the 3 hours. Once they got off that island it was a fantastic movie for me. However, DH loved it, so I guess it was good! To each his own, right.
It was nice just being the 2 of us. I do enjoy that!
too cute. but you forgot the diet coke.Cinderumbrella said:Allow me, Here ya go!!!

that is way cute.ReAnSt said:Instead of the Hokey Pokey at Christmas, i have used the Reindeer Pokey
You put your antlers in, you put your antlers out.
You put your antlers in and shake them all about.
You do the Reindeer Pokey and turn yourself around.
That's what it's all about.
Continue with:
You put your hooves in...
You put your red nose in...
You put your fluffy tail in...
You put your reindeer body in..

ETA: He is a pretty tough kid otherwise!
PNO4TE said:I started out my career teaching Elementary School music. Took 10 years off to be a SAHM and have a second child. When we moved back to Virginia I started out substitute teaching and quickly remembered why I had been ready to leave the teaching profession 10 years priorIt was the POLITICS of public schools that got to me, not the teaching itself.
When I knew it was time for me to go back to work I thought about private lessons in my home or in a rental studio. But there was an ad in the local paper that offered a job in a private music school and I went in for the interview and was hooked! Once I passed all the exams to become a Yamaha teacher I was hired full time. I teach 6 days a week, by my own choice.
I teach classroom lessons to 3year olds through adults and private piano in my own studio in the school. I also teach voice and music composition. I started this job back in 1992 and it seems as if I just began. I LOVE what I do!
I have kept my hand in conducting too, as I am the assistant director of a choral group at my alma mater, which is a University located in our city.
Thanks for asking!
