I think it is around 20-25 dollars, sometimes he has a discount code for a few dollars off. I got it for 17 and change. We did MVMCP too. Not so much advice on picking hotels, more like a lot of info and then you decide. He also has a forum like this too attached to his site. We stayed at the WL last December. Some people don't like it because it is rather dark, not sunny and bright like you want Florida to be. I chose it because of that...it was Christmas, so I wanted to have a Christmas feel, all warm and cozy. The lobby there is magnificent. AKL is set up very much the same way, lobby-wise. The only real difference is the animals. And WL is a boat ride away from MK. Any other destination you need to take a bus. Or you can boat to MK and then take monorail. AKL is all bus. If you want more detailed info, just PM me.

I think the discount code is at mousesavers.com.

We stayed AKL last trip and loved it - but that too is a bit dark, it's a shock when you see the sun! We went to WL on our wedding day to catch ourwishes cruise and although I didn't see the rooms I thought the hotel was STUNNING!! It's like AKL but bigger - and the "private" beach on bay lake (?) is like WOW! especially inthe moonlight. I'd like to stay there one day... but then the reason I love AKL is the animals :paw:

DH just called on the way home from work. He's arranged for a sitter for the kids, and is taking me out to dinner and to see King Kong. I'm excited. An actual date with my hubby! I love those evenings. I don't even care that dinner will be pretty lame for me. Oh well, it's all about being with hubby and enjoying time together, right? We haven't been on a date for a long time. We always end up taking the kids with us. This will really be a treat!

Guess I'd better go get ready! Talk to you all tomorrow.

Hey Glynis - how was your date :rose: ?

And how was King Kong? I've still not gotten round to seing it :upsidedow

(I must apologise I have a new choice of smilies to the right so I'm playing with them again :duck: )

Paul - I feel for you

with this new diet - my body seems to be purging everything and it aint pretty

on top of that Nick has had at least 5 poopy diapers a day this week - which is why I finally enlisted Julias help :rotfl2:

and Julia is on an anitbiotic that turns her poop bright red - it looks like blood - thank goodness I was prepared for it this time

she took it once as a baby and when I went to change her diaper it look like blood b/c it had also loosened her stool - it was Christmas day and i PANICKED called the doctor and he felt horrible when he called - he felt bad for not warning me and was shocked the pharmacy didn't either - usually they both do - unfortunatley they forgot to tell me

I can imagine that would be very :scared1:

Love your new sig... thought I'd let you know you have a rogue tag... :goodvibes

So did anyone watch Dancing With the Stars last night?

not sure who I like at this point.

How's that one go?

We have Strictly COme Dancing - where a celeb gets paired up with a professional dancer and they have to learn how to waltz/jive etc and do a dance each show and then the worst gets voted off by the public...

Yup you got them both right!

Hooray - I hereby give beth 10 points!

Who's winning glamourous assistant Bev - I've lost count :upsidedow

American diapers = ???

American Pacifiers = ???

Diapers are nappies (we have terry toweling ones if you're environmentally friendly or disposable ones)

Pacifiers are dummies.

our friend from Ireland called a pacifier a suter (sp)

I think you mean a soother - althought them being Irish would have pronounced it suter as they talk funny :rolleyes1

it was pretty good--i never readthe book so i wasnt sure what to expect---It felt like it was too long (144 minutes) and i got confused at some parts, but it wasnt too bad for not having any idea what the movie was about!

Hey it's January 7 and the egg still hasn't hatched!!!!

Enjoy your trip Jen :cool2:

Clare - I forgot this one

braces - what my son is getting ready to have put on his teeth by the orthodontist

Yup we call those braces too ::yes:: or train tracks if they're the ones that are glued to your teeth like I had as a kid :rotfl: Just a nickname for them

I don't really like that show either - although I never really get into it as they always show it at the same time as X Factor - which is like American idol but they have groups, 16-24s and 25 and overs in it

Yay points for me!

You get the gold star!!!

Here where i live in Lancaster, Pa we have a lot of people of German descent and they have a lot of sayings that are called Pa Dutch sayings.

Throw the horse over the fence some hay.
Throw Papa down the stairs his hat.

Took me a long time to figure those out. :)

Sounds a bit like yoda - where he forms his sentences backwards!

Are you up really late?

I stayed up late (well for me) last night DIsing and then woke up too early this morning. Couldn't sleep so I came here!

I think though I should be good and go and write some more of my trip report so I'll see you later

Now Just start singing :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I did that for WAAAAAAAAAAY too many hours yesterday. Just now catching up (she says hopefully) from all I missed over the past 24 hours. Of course I have to teach at 9:00 this a.m. and the Redskins have a playoff game this afternoon...

PNO4TE- I would absolutely love to do what you do for a living! I enjoy music so much. I play 4 instruments and LOVE to sing. How did you get into doing this for a living?? Do you teach for a school or out of your home?
