Angela -- Congratulations! That is the most wonderful news.

Did I miss Tink2020's good news, or has she not posted it yet?

No update yet.

Tom - great story.

Tammi - thanks for posting a couple more days. Sounds like fun.

Clare - garters can refer to the circular one like you had for wedding, or also as in "garter belt"

(had to look long and hard to find an appropriate picture to post :earseek:

It is amazing what you can find on the internet. After googling images of garter belts (took a while to find an appropriate picture), found this picture of garter belt earrings:

Amy, I think we should start our maternity designs. I am 8 weeks today so I think that puts you 5 weeks ahead of me. I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday, but by my calculations I am due August 18.

Congradulations. Another DDA baby. I want to see some of your maternity designs.

Well it's a word not a saying...

I picked it because last trip (not the one just gone) it was a question on WHTBAM play it - and the guy in the chair had no idea and the audience got it wrong...

What's a lorry?

I'm sure you must already have an answer by now, but I think I know this one.

A truck.

I work for Kodak, and I have been to the Kodak plant in Harrow, England a few times, and I have learned quite a few English words/phrases. I always threatened to make what I called an English - American dictionary.

Work related words that I have learned in "English" are spanner and torch. Anyone but Clare can guess at these if you like.

I am having a hard time figuring out what to pack. I have been in Feb. & the weather was perfect(shorts in the day & a couple of chilly nights with jackets). How is the weather in Jan, same as Feb? I'm trying not to overpack, which I have a very good habit of doing :rotfl:

We went for 8 nights 2 years ago.(Jan 24 - Feb 10) One day the weather would be warm and people would be swimming and one morning it was 33 degrees. Plan long & short sleeves & maybe even a couple of pairs of shorts. Plan to wear layers. It is a hard time of year to pack for, but the low crowds are wonderful. Hopefully, my next trip will be in Jan.

Hey 7/11 that's my mum's birthday - but the english version.. as in 7th November!

Isn't it odd we do our dates the other way round - today is 06/01/06
Yeah the way you all do your dates is confusing to me but I guess it is whatever you get used to.

Too funny!!!

I know he'd do it if I really really wanted to...but last time I casually mentioned it he was in a daze for a few days and I caught him muttering things like, lord grant me the strength....
I noticed you have 3. We found last year that adding the 4th (wasn't planned but we're thankful for the surprise  ) wasn't as hard as when we had the other 3. My oldest at 7 helps out a lot. Now if only he'd change diapers like Julia :rotfl2: . Now I have heard from large families with like 10 :earseek: that the more you add on the easier as the older ones help in a large family more. DH would need a straightjacket if we had 10. :rotfl: But, I admire those that can handle it so well.

Well this is true :rotfl:

I subscribed to TGM and followed his advice for best parks/day and his touring plans. I was a master planner. The crowds were very managable, but I think that's because of TGM. It was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to go that time of year again. I just wish the weather had been warmer, but that is hit or miss anytime. If you are going to go at a busy time of year, I would recommend TGM. But that is a whole other debate....

I had read up on DVC so I already knew what it was about, but DH was another story. We took the tour so he could hear it from the "expert" and we were hooked!
Thanks. How much is TGM and how far in advance can I order it? I already know from Denise's report that we want to do MVMCP. So I have that much figured out. Does he give advice on how to pick a hotel? I want the GF, Denise's report had me sold on that 1, but DH likes the look from pics of the WL and of course the kids like the AKL just from hearing about it on TV. My parents are looking at mods. and sister is not sure between values and mods based on budget. :confused3
