What about having her handprints scanned into the computer? Just have her handprints on a regular piece of paper, scan them in, then print them on transfer paper? Just thowing out another idea!!

Great  ! Sometimes my brain refuses to work! We did them last night so I now need to print the transfers and iron them on. Will post pics when we're done!

Denise--great photos! BK's costume is beautiful!

I went to our small school dance recital Friday night to watch a friend's daughter. The finale was all songs from High School Musical. I thought of Kate and all of you!

Beth

We had a Fundraiser at school, Exercise for RBES, where the kids got pledges and basically danced for 2 hours in the gym. Just about all of the songs were from High School Musical. All of the kids were singing along!

I'm proud of you for sticking it out and working your last shift. The person that you screwed might not have been one that deserved it. I'm so glad that you are no longer employed there! It sounds like a very bad situation to be in. WTG! I'm proud of you!

Becky, I missed your first post. I agree with everything Vicki says!

I HATE shopping!!!

I just spent 3.5 hours at the mall, intending to buy some new summer clothes for work/church and came home with nothing. Well, not exactly nothing. I did buy one bathing suit, after trying on about 20. So it wasnt a total waste of time, and I actually like and feel good in this suit (tankini) that I got. I had another one that I wanted to buy, but it was a Nautica and not on sale...$96!! No way! But as for clothes shopping, I really have trouble deciding what looks good, what to buy, how to mix and match. What is wrong with me?! I thought shopping was supposed to be in our genes!

I'm right there with you. I so hate shopping for clothes.

Denise - Tons of prayers coming your way from NE Ohio today! I'll be praying for Rees and the family!

:wave2:

Hope everyone had a good weekend. We had a cook in yesterday as it rained all day (heck it rained all weekend).

Hope everyone is doing well and
:wizard: :grouphug: :wizard: :grouphug: for ya all.

P.S. Kate when you get the chance clean out some of the PMs, couldn't send you one this morning. I just want to know if the Pin Exchange is wrapped up, so that I can remove the link from my thread.

Deb - I hope you are feeling better this morning.

Denise - I know I missed you, but I will be thinking of you all, and especially Rees, today.

Vicki -- you are one special woman.

Becky - good for you for taking over your life. You go girl!

Amy - great pictures of the new house. How fun!

Baloo -- Great to see you on here this morning!

Marci - hope your DH goes to the doctor today and is doing better

Dumby -- :bday:

I am sure I have missed someone but did not take notes up to this point. So, if I did... I am sorry. I will catch you on the next posting.
My last recitals were done at 10:00 last night. I am in recovery mode right now but ought to be back posting on a more regular basis in a day or two. Take care DDA friends!

I have been scrapbooking for years, but still am about a year and a half behind. It really is an expensive hobby. The market just keeps growing. I, too, love the new Disney products that CM has. I can't justify buying those, though, until I get caught up.

I am about 5 years behind. I don't know if I will ever get caught up!

Hi everyone--there is no way i can catch up fro mthis weekend--so i just wanted to post that i was home!

it was an INCREDIBLE weekend!!! It was very hard and there were many tears shed, but we also had alot of happy moments and we made a lot of good friends. Alyssa's family was so nice and we enjoyed spending the time with them, and we are planning on going back again for a longer visit..
Last night we ended up watching a movie of Alyssa and looking through pictures..We got to see her room, which was pretty emotional, but it was so cool.
Today, we went to the actual Kride event..This was amazing!! there was a 100, 50, 25, and 10 mile ride, so before each one went, they dedicated it to alyssa and alyssa's mom/sister got to cut the ribbon. My brother did a great job and ended up finishing 2nd of the 10mile riders--he is aiming to do 25 miles next year! The weather ended up being good--a bit rainy on and off, but nothing too horrible. We got to hang out with her family and friends and they just accepted us as family...

I wanted to share some pictures! (i know , i go way too overboard sharing pics!)

I wanted to thank you all for supporting me so much lately..its been a rough month (today is one month since Lyss died)..I appreciate it more than you can know!

I am glad that the weekend went so well for you. I loved all the photos that you shared.

Beth

We got the keys to the new house today! Now, we have to make a list of all we want to do (e.g. paint the nursery, etc.) before we officially move in.

I'll try to give you a virtual tour...I'll skip the bedrooms (4 total) and bathrooms (2 1/2 of them) since the pictures don't do them justice though.

Here's the front of the house:
Here's the back of the house:
Here's part of the backyard and you can see how the pool (still unopened) has a wonderful safety fence around it:

There is a playroom in the basement (that's not our fuseball table):

And while the kiddos are playing, I also have a craft room in the basement:

What a great house!

We marked it last night to see if it grew any. If it did, he agreed to go to the ER. It didn't grow, but it doesn't look any better. He's going to see the doctor first thing tomorrow.

Denise -- Thanks again for all the advice and information, and for checking up on him.

We continue to keep Rees, you and the rest of the Figs in our prayers, and will check in several times tomorrow to see how he is doing.

Keep us posted!

Ok, quick post.

And, I did make Rees' PM 3 shirts tonight. The Anniversary one is so cool. It plays more games and sings. And the hand supposedly lights up when you see that emblem in the parks. How fun! Here's the shirts.

I will call Marti, Kate, or Amy tomorrow to have them post for me. I should hopefully be home Tuesday. My mom arrived around 10pm tonight (got delayed due to bad weather at the airport).

Thanks again for all the prayers. Love you all.

The shirts are adorable!

I haven't felt so good today, nothing specific, just yucky. I did manage to do my grocery shopping and I've completed most of our costumes for next weekends Mardi Gras camping trip. I haven't started packing the camper yet. The weather has turned cold and rainy so I'm not too motivated. I will have to work on it during the day this week as I'm working Mon, Tues and Thurs nights this week instead of my normal weekend shifts. I guess time will fly this week. I'm headed to bed as I'm pretty tired, have been all day :confused3

Night All

Deb

Deb, Hope you feel better soon! :wizard:

Ok, I'm headed to bed. We have to be at the hospital which is over an hour away by 7:30 am. I will take a picture of Rees with PM in the am, but I won't get to post it until Tues or Wed. Thanks again, everyone, for being so wonderful.

Oh, and John and I were just playing with his Blackberry. I tried the DIScreet Mobile skin, and it worked for me on the Blackberry. I will try to post as soon as I can. Night all!

It's 7:30 so you should be at the hospital by now. You are in everyone's thoughts and prayers this morning. Here's lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for Rees!
