Good luck with the house.

Glynis
I can only say.
My house my rules.

That's what I told the kids! They did not like that at all! The 3 year old pitched a fit when I told her she had to take the punishment that I chose since it was my house and my rules. Did I care? No!!! She did it, and every time she even LOOKED like she was going to disobey me, I called her on it! The 4 year old did much better. I think he's starting to realize that I'm not the pushover his mom and dad are.

Glynnis how did the cookies turn out.
How many cheese cakes, cookies and besert bars did you end up making?

Good morning everyone,

I've had a respiratory infection and haven't been feeling well so I haven't posted much the past few days, the meds are starting to kick in finally.

Reading through the posts my prayers go out to the Figs and little Rees,
hope those at the World right now a having a wonderful time, Amy I'm glad to
hear all is well with you and baby Matthew.

Congratulations on finishing your assignments Clare, I love your "accent" in your posts. I'm guessing a "tip" is what we call the dump?

Best wishes and or congrats to the rest of you, my goal today is to get the
invitations printed and in the mail for my daughter's reception, I'm still open for any suggestions or recipes.

Have a great weekend,

Debbie :wave2:

Hi Debbie! I'm glad you're feeling better! Take care of yourself, you've got a lot on your plate, right now!

Jen I started watching season one of Grey's Anatomy and I'm hooked! Got through three episodes in a row while ironing on Thursday! Was going to do another marathon this afternoon but DH's cricket match has been cancelled so we're gonna see DaVinci code at the movies instead

Let us know how the movie is. I've heard such conflicting things! I really want to see it, but I will wait until I hear from you if it's worth paying 7 dollars a person for it!

Truthfully? I didn't get them all finished last night. I did get the cherry truffle bars done, and they look yummy! I'm up right now to get the rest done while my family sleeps in. I started making the moonbeam cookies, then realized that my lemon curd is rancid, so I'm off to the store to pick up a bottle or some lemon pie filling. Hopefully I'll have time for the cheesecakes. If not, I'll try something else instead.

I've also got a community clean up to do this morning, take the kids to the library, pick up my computer, and take the kids to the swimming pool before the dinner/dance. Hope I can get it all in. Wish me luck!

I know Glynnis is up but she had to run to the store. nut where is evryone else. My DH just got up and DD is still sleeping. I guess since no one is around I should proabbly get up and finish packing for our overnight stay in college station.

I think we will leave around noon as we can't check in to the hotel till 3 and the wedding is not till 7

I just hit post 2,500 and did not even realize it.

I was to busy trying to do the impossible and pass Tammy and Kate. I have less then a 1,00 post on this thread.

Oh how neat! Do you have to get on the ride in order to send one of these?
Nope! This was in the Kid's Area. I'll ask her the location when she shows me her pictures...and I still haven't gotten her photopass link yet!!!

bear74 said:
Glynnis you only need 681 pos to pass Kate and only 537 to pass tammy.

I'm working on it. But I don't know if I'll be able to do it. I'll be out of the house most of today, but I'll work hard while I can. When are Kate and Tammy back?

Well, I decided against the oreo cheesecakes as the filling would take longer than I have to set. So, instead I threw together a pan of white chocolate raspberry bars. They are so good, and I didn't even have to make the cookie dough as I had a tube in the fridge. Makes things so much faster. I'll try to remember to take pictures of the bars before I deliver them this afternoon. Still trying to get to the cookies. We'll see. My day seems to be going so fast and it's only 8:30 in the morning here.

Glynis, your mini cheesecakes...are they something like this?
2 8oz cubes cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1t. vanilla
Nilla Wafers
pie filling

Mix together cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla
Place cupcake liners in pan, with a Nilla wafer in the bottom. Fill 1/2-3/4 full of cheese mixture, bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and cool. Top with dollop of pie filling.

Don't know if these would be easier or quicker, but they cook fast and are easy to make.
