All right all it is time for me to head off to la la land.

I actually got seven hours of sleep last night/this morning so I was a happier camper until it was 90 degrees before noon and had a nasty headache to go with it.

Night all my DDA night owl friends

Good Morning my early bird friends!!

Ok, I've become the latest stalker. I just called and left a voice message for Denise asking if everything is ok. Told her that we are worried and love her. Asked her to check in if she gets a chance.

Thank you for checking on her.

Glynis -- Moonbeam cookies sound fabulous. And they could be my namesake cookie!!

Except that DBF and I aren't eating carbs these days. Shoot. I'll have to remember to make them the next time we are "bad" and eat carbs.

Thanks for all the recipes!!

Jennifer

Just set small goals. Things that you can accomplish in 15 minutes. Set your kitchen timer for 15 minutes, and work until it goes off, then move to a different job for another 15 minutes, then another job for 15 minutes, then take 15 minutes for some "me" time. Then start all over again. Flylady calls it "Crisis Cleaning." It really works. Then, once everything is cleaned, just a little bit of maintenance every day keeps your house tidy. Or at least manageable.

When I first tried it, I thought, it's too simple, it will never work. But it does, and best of all, I don't get frazzled, because I'm always switching jobs. You really have to train yourself to stop after 15 minutes and do something else. You can always schedule another 15 minutes to finish up the jobs later in the crisis cleaning.

I did it! The girls and I took 15 minutes to clean up toys and I put away the clean dishes in the dishwasher. We made it a game and raced against the timer.
I don't know if that will work for the girls everytime, but I sure will try.

Thal you VICKI for telling me more when you called.

Glynis -- I've been meaning to ask you...

Did you get the 50th Anniversary Edition DVD of Lady & the Tramp for Mother's Day?

That would be so cool!!!!! I'm heading there with my family in the Fall of 2007, but I would be up for going earlier in the year without them. I'll do whatever the group decides to do!

me too, I want to be a groupie.:teeth:

I told her the same thing when I called to talk to her this afternoon. By the way, she talks just the way she types!!!! We had a nice chat!!! I'll have to call and pester her again.

You can call anytime. But pester me? Never. :)
thank you for the call.

Yay! Another one!

DL will be opening the Finding Nemo ride in 2007, too. I can't wait to see it! The Buzz Lightyear ride is amazing, and quite different from WDW, too, as you can remove the guns. Much easier to get a higher score. And to see Storybook Land at twilight is incredible. Then there's the Matterhorn, Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride....need I go on????? There's Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, the Original Tiki Room (where you can relax with a Dole Whip, Marti), It's a Small World. You guys would all love it! It's nice and compact and easily doable in 2 days. Perfect for us who can't take too much time away from family and work.

I would be driving (about 6 hrs) and could stop by airports along the way.
It's up my ally or is it down the side road well anyway it would be on my way.

Oh Glynis, now you have made me want to drive down tonight!

I just called Denise again and talked with John her DH. He said that there has been no change in Rees' condition. However, Denise now has a sinus infection. Between the Rees issues & the sinus infection, she is wiped out. I asked if there was anything we could do and he said just to pray for Rees & the family. I let him know that we are all doing that already and will continue to do so. I also told him to let Denise know how much she and her family means to us.
Thank you again Vicki.

Because I am an office manager at a church(answered a previous question)
I can't do it around Easter or from September to January....other than that I'm good!! :lmao:

So you have very little limits?:rotfl2:

Paula -- Must tell you...

I was reading on the board the other day, when DBF looked over my shoulder and saw your post with your new post milestone. He said, "where are the little girls dancing and yelling wahoo? where are the stapled signs?" We both had such a joyful laugh at Ellie and Bethie dancing around in their stapled signs at your last milestone.

Just wanted you to know how much joy photos of your kids (and everyone's kids on the DDA board) give us.

OK ladies you have me convinced!!! I wanna go to Disney Land!

I'm hoping you'd let me join you for more than the fact that I can get a travel agent rate at a Marriott or Disney's onsite resorts. :teeth: I've also heard a rumor that the parking lot at the Sharaton across the street from DL is the BEST spot to watch the fireworks...

Which airport do I want to fly too? Either of the two easier to get to DL from? I'm gonna have to check and see if Airtran still flys to the west...maybe Frontier?

Now you have me heading over to my Disney TA site to see whats going on over there...

Discount? Bring it on!
My sister still uses her IATA# when she can, I think it will be up for renewal this year and she no longer is a TA.
Depending on what folks want, the group could get some good discounts.

I will talk to them and see if they would pose with a sign this week.
Thank you, you made me smile.

Whatever, I don't need to know your secrets. :rotfl2:

Just because we don't live nearby doesn't mean someone won't take a trip or do something else to find out your secret. Lots of people here love a challenge. :teeth:

:rotfl: :rotfl:

BTW: Did you remember to have someone take your picture? If so I would love to see it. :)

Picture for what?

This will be a short post as I jammed my finger today and it is really swollen and has turned black :guilty: I had planned to stay home today, get my camper cleaned and help the kids with their projects. Of course that didn't work out as planned. My Mother took the 2 older boys to a Kids and Cops day in a nearby town. They called shortly after leaving to say that Colby had been invited to attend by the Chief of Police. I ended up bringing him and was gone from Noon to 4 PM. It was fun and the kids got to play just about every sport that you've ever heard of. I was shagging balls during volleyball and went to catch 2 at the same time jamming the index finger on my left hand. Ouch. We finished the day and each of the kids were given prizes. Very nice. We got home around 5 PM and managed to complete Hunter's science fair project and about 1/2 of Nick's. So more to do tomorrow.

Glad to hear that Denise is ok.

Welcome back WDW travellers.

Hello to everyone else.

Deb

PD and prayers that you get better so very soon.

I thought your event was this weekend but I know it was not. I got a wee bit confuddled.

Also here is the other picture that was in your cleaning fairy message although it appears to have disappeared from that location.

But I really do hope that the fairies come to help clean your house. :wizard: I also hope they come to visit me to.

Well folks, it is about time for sleepy sleep. I am off to clean out the sink and then off to disney dream land.

Chat with you all later.
