Thanks, Vicki! It was even a Mickey mask as I used some Mickey fleece I had. I think I'm going to turn the rest into a cape to go with the mask, but she really wanted to keep the bandana cap yesterday.

It must be the age. When Nick and Hunter were little they always had on their capes. Nick Had a couple of Mickey Mouse ones and Tuffy had one to match. Hunter had Pooh bear and Tiffany had one to match . They also had matching masks. They still have a drawer full of misc. costume stuff. Now Colby and Logan pull stuff out and play superhero. Terra is one cute superhero. I looked at the photo of you holding her and thought, "who is holding Terra", then I realized that you are not Aurora from you signature I'm sure several people here picture me with long black hair from my Meg costume

My friend came over and we lounged in the pool from about 1130-430, it was great! My other friend came over with his daughter too,,shes getting so big! almost 6 months old--we saw her roll over too, which she just started to do!

Tomorrow, i have a CT scan and then work for a bit..nothing too exciting!

I too would like to give my sincere gratitude those people that have put and continue to put their lives on the line to protect ours. We would not be the people we are today without each of you. Thank you.

I got to sleep in this morning. It was a nice change. We had some rain this morning so we didn't get outside too early. I ended up running to Joann's and picked up some beading and fabric to throw together costumes for our Mardi Gras Camping trip. I got home and managed to put Colby down for his nap without falling asleep myself. Usually I'm out before him. I found his behive costume and added colorful Mardi Gras Necklaces and decorated the bees antena's. It isn't great, but it is what Colby wants. We decided to have Nick wear his warewolf costume as it has that metalic gold shirt. We'll dress it up with beads and other jewel toned accessories. I need to have someone make me a cd of "Billy's got his Beer Goggles On" and "Tequilla makes her clothes fall off" as I'm making Chris some beer goggles to go with his lampshade hat and I'm planning to wear a tablecloth. I thought it would be pretty funny to have those two songs playing. Our neighbor is a country radio dj so I'm sure I can get him to put those songs on a cd for me. Hunter doesn't want to dress up Last year I had to make costumes out of stuff in the camper as he decided at the last minute to dress up.

Mid afternoon, Chris and I washed the outside of our camper. It took 3 + hours to do, but really looks nice. We determined that we need to re chaulk all the seams as they are drying out and cracking. Just another project to add to the growing list. We then had a Memorial Day BBQ next door at my Brother's house. We each made a few dishes and had way too much food. My Mom brought her croquet set so we taught the kids how to play. It was fun. Chris and I also spent a good hour brushing all the loose hair off Tuffy. He looks much better, but I could spend another hour and he would still be shedding. Just walking around with us really made him lame and he had difficulty walking back home. Hopefully he will be ok tomorrow. It is so sad, but I fear it may be the last big family function that he gets to join us for We came home, I cut Chris's hair and planted a few more flowers in pots out front. Everyone is in bed now except me as I had to get my DIS fix. I hope everyone else had an enjoyable day.

DVC question. We closed on our purchase on Feb 14 and the Deed was recorded on Feb 21. We have not received our permanant DVC cards yet. Should I call our guide to check on them? I read on the DVC board that some people that closed in May have already received their cards. How long did it take other's here to get there cards?

Theresa, I like to get jackets from Roaman's (not a store - they're online or catalog). They have many colors and are of good quality. The sizing is true, and best of all, they don't think because you are a little larger around you also have arms as long as an orangutan. The prices are good, too. I also like Dress Barn Woman.

The thing is I think I do have arms as long as an orangutan.

Several got very close. There were a few Zebra Longwings that were constantly fluttering around her, but never actually landed. Another one landed on her leg for a second once too.

How did it go from cold to too damn hot in two weeks?!?! I slept late and then went outside to plant flowers and the kids played in their little pool = I was wiped out by the time we were done

then we went to my parents for a cookout and the kids played on their slip n slide - we had a nice afternoon but I really wish it weren't so stinking hot here!!!

I made ADRs for our June trip today. Set up a character breakfast at Cape May Cafe at Beach Club one day. Anyone know which characters are there? We are staying at the Yacht Club, so that's why I picked this restaurant.

For all of those with HOT weather. This too will pass. We had 80-95 degrees weather for almost a week today it finally cooled to a reasonable 75 and should stay that way all week.

We had a fairly uneventful weekend, we spent the day picking up some BAB stuff to feed Vicki's new addiction. And then had a wonderful feast at a friends house.

Cassidy has mini band camp tomorrow and Wednesday....not much summer vacation. We then start dance camp, Summer Fun Days, Music camp and VBS. Plus I am firming up the days to be in Maryland in July. There are plenty of free days but I didn't want a whole lot as they are virtual latchkey kids.

Build a Bear is doing a summer reading program. I have the girls in our library, the BAB and probably at least one more. They have to read daily anyway they might as well be rewarded for it. They also have to do some math, though for Cassidy it's getting harder and harder to find stuff I can check. The girl is getting to smart for my own good.

Long time, no talk. I hope everyone had good holidays! Mine was the definition of hectic with a company picnic, but it's over for yet another year - thank goodness! This time next week, I will be sitting on a beach thousands of miles away - with Mickey Andy Mouse by my side! As I told Vicki in a PM earlier tonight, I hope to do some catching up while I'm on vacation (my time is just not my own right now - I have missed all of you a ton!), and will try to give Andy some good, relaxing fun - and maybe a pina colada or two. Has everyone been just posting pics of PM's adventures in the main thread, or have separate threads been started?

I've got to get to bed with another long day ahead of me, but I hope everyone is well. Know that I think of each of you, and pray for you, daily.

ok ok with all this talk of grilling... I assume you mean outside? We call that barbequeing (on the barbeque). When we refer to the grill we mean the one inside the oven in the kitchen!

Tia - love your pictures, Terra is growing up so quickly! Especially compared to the photo in your sig.

Vicki - Wow that is some Barbie World! I thought I had a lot of stuff when I was a kid but it pales in comparison! I used to have my "house" set up in a bookcase

Well back to work today after the Spring Bank Holiday (public holiday) yesterday... Not sure what the reason for ours actually is...! It'll probably be for some historic bank related financial reason...

I have not been on lately because I am in a funk. I want to go back to WDW but it just will not happen.
But I am getting excited about going to DC with Steffy. And of course in about eleven days will be going to the shore.
We have off tomorrow. But back to the grind on Tuesday.

I thought since Steffy and I keep an eye on each other I didn't think to give my address to anyone else. Will do that tomorrow.

Sounds like the May meet was loads of fun.

Terry i was just thinking about you the other day, I Hope you get out of your funk soon. Can you plan for a trip in a couple of years?
