Denise-- and even more prayers for Rees. I am so sorry that he and you need to go through this.

Paula--thanks for revealing the SSP! Those pillowcases look terrific!

Who is up for a planned meet this August? Anyone going to the World from the 13th-25th?

Since everyone at work is tired of me talking about Disney, I'll ask all of you!

When Bob and I go to Disney this fall, we currently have 8 nights at the Pop Century resort. Bob has been dying to stay at Riverside. The catch is though, it would run us another $540. I've never stayed this long at a value before, and given it's the last week that the free dining is running, I'm afraid that it's gonna be swamped here. Does anyone have suggestions for me? Do it or don't? Save the money for something else? (Like bills, Segway tour, and Disney stuff to take home?) I guess I'm hoping someone will talk me out of it.

Chanon--I've never stayed at a value (that whole family of 5 thing), so I can't really help you out. I can say that we are staying Riverside and stuffing all 5 of us in one room to save $$$. I waffled several times over switching to CR garden wing to give us a little more space plus monorail access and walking distance to MK, but I just couldn't justify the difference in price. Riverside is gorgeous, though!

There...no help whatsoever!

Thanks! They are from Miami University's campus... it's absolutely gorgeous! I took a bunch of pictures the weekend of graduation to play with -- I'll try to post more somewhere, because the campus is really amazing. And I'm not TOTALLY biased

On another side note, I had to share this too!
I've been doing alot of reservations for the free dining this fall. I've just noticed on the confirmations that are faxed to me that Disney has put a new saying/warning...
"All guests must be present during checkin to qualify for the free dining or your reservation will be subject to change." or something along those lines.
Apparently, some people have been "asking questions" about bringing 4 and only 2 show up...the second set of tickets wouldn't expire, and the two people would have extra dining credits. Geezz...who thinks this stuff up??

Sharonville really needs an ice cream shop, but soft serve cones are only 69 cents all this month at Ameristop. Of course, they only serve one flavor, every two days, but Kevin was very happy it was chocolate tonight!

Hey, that's always worth the price! We stop at the Kings Mills Ameristop on the way home from PKI for that very reason.

I was just curious, because I have memories of living in Loveland when I was little, and my parents and I would always walk to this little ice cream stand down the road. You have so much nearby that you can walk to, which is very cool. I was just curious

I don't recognize the first one though, so I cheated and looked at your photo properties only to see a name I don't recognize: Collins Hall. Either this is a new building, a renamed building, or a building I never had classes in.

Well, it's not new OR renamed. It's probably one of the oldest buildings, but it's absolutely convenient to NOTHING on campus, so if you didn't live on East Quad you wouldn't have had any use for it

It was my freshman hall, which I absolutely abhorred -- but I think East Quad is so pretty

babytrees[/B]]I married when I was 19 (being married is a non trad "marker") and I was a mom at 20 (another marker). So in our non trad group I was the youngest ever.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I was practically the ONLY married student at Miami (aside from grad students) Amy can attest to the fact that it is NOT very diverse as far as that is concerned!

It was only my last 2 years (of 5) though, so I had 3 good years of traditional-ness -- I was done by then!

(Although Amy, I too miss living there whenever I'm in Oxford)

As we speak, all our DDA friends are up getting ready to go to the parks...should we take a guess at what they are doing? Or does someone have their schedule?
I'm hoping someone will get emails from Epcot to share; my friend sent me this one from Mission Space: http://ms.go.com/retrieve?card_id=195D63E0B1840C364519C51C522FA17C. I'm sure she won't mind me sharing! She's at the Wilderness Lodge right now, getting ready to come home, back to rainy Ohio...

Oh, I'm SO sad for her! Especially if it's cold up north today like it is here!

Well, we're off to "Math and Science Day". Somehow I think I'll actually like this a little LESS in the teacher role than I did as a student. AND the weather report went from completely sunny and a bit chilly to sun and rain all day

Oh, well! I'm pretty sure it can't top yesterday's weather, so we should be ok!

I have to say the weather in Atlanta today is beautiful. Right now it is 63 degrees with a high of 80 with winds 10-20 mph...........just enough spring breeze to keep you cool. I don't think we could ask for a better Friday.
