I share your aversion to an "i" too

My name should have been Claire - but Dad spelt it wrong on my birth certificate so I'm "Clare-without an i" when people are writing my name down!

If I someone writes to me at work calling me Claire I just don't recognise it as my name - they might as well call me Michelle!

That's like Ellen vs. Elin. Although they sound the same, they are not the same to me.

finally caught up.
I wasn't able to do the march of dimes walk this morn. as I had difficulty getting to sleep last night and could not get up when the alarm went off. I was bit by what I thought were masquitos last weekend but the spots are still really itchcy and the hydrocortizone cream was not cutting it. so took a long time to fall asleep; I have scrathced them so much through my clothes that I have big welps on my legs.

Can I just say that I love the way you spell your name? When I first saw it, I called my husband in to show him. We had been playing around with naming one of the twins "Clare Elizabeth" Alan wasn't sure he liked the spelling without the "i", but I told him that I liked it, it looked special! So, he was intrigued to see someone else with the same spelling that I wanted. Too bad that when she was born, Mary looked like the spitting image of her great grandmother Mary. Sorry. If we "ever" have another baby girl, I'll push for Clare.

My Lizzie is Elizabeth Claire and she has a friend who is Clare Elizabeth.

Edit to add: Elizabeth is DH's Mom's middle name and Claire is my Mom's middle name.

Happy Saturday everyone...

We just got back from Dutch Wonderland, an amusement park in Lancaster PA. The girls had so much fun. We went with another couple and their 3yr old DD. The weather was perfect and there was no lines on any of the rides.

I have been skimming over the posts from Thursday night and Friday...

I have determined that I definetly watch way too much TV. I Tivo everything, I cannot watch TV in real time anymore, and here is a list.

Sun- Cold Case, Desparate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy
Mon-Nothing
Tuesday- NCIS and The Unit
Wednesday- Amazing Race Alias, I tivo the entire season and DH and I have a marathon weekend
Thursday- Survivor, CSI, ER
Fri- Las Vegas, Close to Home
Sat-Nothing
I also do General Hospital, but I go in spurts- if it is terrible then I will not watch it for a while. I had almost a 2 year break the last time I stopped watching.

I don't know if I will get a chance to check in tomorrow. We are doing breakfast with my parents. Dinner with the inlaws, this is a triple celebration- Mother's Day, MIL bday and MIL/FIL anniversary. I like this as it gets it all done in one day. Plus my girlfriend is having a get together at her house so we may stop in there and that is at least an hour drive.

Ok. Just to clarify; is there anything different about the DL ears and the WDW ones? If not, and you need them sooner, the May 18 DDA trippers will be at WDW sooner. If you want the DL ones, I would be thrilled to be able to pick them up for you.
